The night of the 3rd? Same as usual.

A few days from then is when I will progressively get more glued in to the count, culminating in me using a day or two of VAC, who knows? I'm looking forward to a party.

Patience is a virtue. Here we are in p&n still waiting for you to make a sensible post and I'm sure in 2024 we'll still be waiting.
You mean a post you agree with. P&N isn't about political discussion, it's about proclamations, accusations, and reinforcement of the socialist ideas you hold dear. I'm OK with that, as I don't require positive reinforcement about my beliefs to feel good about myself. On top of that, I don't hate anyone, which in itself is liberating, you should try it.

Lol, the same guy that didn't know that Republicans laid claim to the "party of family values", and was tickled pink with a adorable deplorable t-shirt is here for facts.

I am going to build a self-flagellation machine In case on the fourth I feel an urge to gloat. But, just in case, I will also sharpen my butcher knives. Then I am going to move my furniture so nothing breaks and hang up my monkey bars so I can swing with abandon from the ceiling. There will just be no keeping the ape out of apeshit mode.

You ask more than I know how to deliver honestly. I love humanity to death but I just can’t stand people. Everywhere I go they are in my way like a plague. And boy oh boy do they also hate me and especially if I tell them what I think. But on the good side, I hope, is that I don’t seem to have a lot of passive aggression, unless what I’m doing right now is.

And there is always the small matter that if I were to hate myself for being full of hate for others well then, that would just make me hate myself. Get my dilemma?

I do like you though because you don’t like hate and probably even hate it. I’m with you on that. I have always sided with the victim except for the worthless bastard ones that deserve it.

So just as soon as I am able not to hate I will fully join your camp. Until then I am going to try not to act out my hate. That’s about the best I can do. Not much maybe. Mom said be honest. She might as well have said, ‘feel hungry, stick tour head in a dead crow’

So you don't hate anyone for anything ever? Are you some hippie dippie liberal dope that thinks the world can all just get together and sing kumbaya? Sounds really stupid and naive. I think most of the rest of us live in the real world comparatively speaking.

I come here for a lot of reasons, but in regards to positive reinforcement that you don't need, I mean who needs positive reinforcement of their beliefs if one is delusional in the first place.

Good news is I’m in San Diego for the next few months so I will be able to consume this at a reasonable hour.

If all goes well I’ll get drunk and watch some sort of satisfying conclusion at a reasonable hour.

It may not be officially over by midnight Nov. 3 or even days later but I hope the writing is clearly on the wall that Biden/Harris have won by then.
It probably won't be official, for days, all on hold due to Trumps lawsuits, which will be many. But we should have an idea by the next day how the majority voted, the question is what kind of stunts will trump attempt to get the vote ruled invalid.

Regardless, I do not expect that Trump will ever make the phone call to Biden and concede.

Yes, if Trump indeed loses his response will likely be a blizzard of lawsuits in every state that’s even remotely close.

That aside I also agree he will likely never call to concede, and will not attend Biden’s inauguration. I’m not even sure he will be in the country then, which honestly might be a smart move.

Texas and Florida could be called on election night. If either go blue it is done. I think NC and Ohio are also expected to have results the night of the election, so same with them, if they go blue it is done. Other than that, it'll likely be a waiting game.

My 'plan' is to expect a Republican propaganda blitz to call the election before all the votes are counted.

And after the election, get started on the important work of making liberal speech and the Democratic party illegal... because freedom isn't safe from free speech and political opposition is treason, amirite patriot?

I think Trump will be conspicuously absent at those convocations of past presidents we see from time to time.

And somehow, I can't imagine people calling him Mr. President. He still hasn't earned that term. He's as presidential as Don Rickles, but lacks a sense of humor and is never funny, just shall we say, comical.

You don't think it'll come down to mail in ballots counted and found days / weeks later? With legal battles over which ones count?
It'd be nice if Nov3 was the deciding day. But people decided to make this year different.... they should have voted in person.

people didn't decide to make this year different, the pandemic makes this year different. i am quite happy with filling out an absentee ballot and dropping it in a ballot collection box. in fact, i will likely vote this way for the rest of my life. telling people they should vote in person is Trump's schtick and not very wise.

I have no plans. That's 6.5 days away, a long time in my world. Alcohol doesn't come to mind, though, it wouldn't make things clearer. A fair chance I'll watch some network coverage, don't know if I can stand to watch it straight, it gets pretty boringly detailed sometimes with the dissecting.
