If the night is overwhelmingly blue, I'll pull out my proverbial blue suede shoes and dance dance dance. Well, it would only be the beginning, but a damn good beginning.I am practicing my Dance steps.
I might be doing the To Sad to Go On Two Step.
or
the Florida Felon Fling and perhaps the Texas Blue Redux,
Arizona Bop, Iowa Surprize or Georgia Waltz.
I might be disappointed but Damn it I am alive and I care!
I recommend Amazon movie Lie.Binge exercise on my elliptical while watching Amazon prime movies. I think we all know the future of American democracy is being decided, but we also know that either way it goes, it's only the beginning of the struggle to save America, so no need to burn out stressing over this one. It's just one battle in a cold civil war.
Fucking drink. Hopefully find out the outcome, then drink a fuck ton more. Either in celebration or despondency.
I might buy some limes and make some proper daquiris. Wine is more convenient though. Straight whisky feels like it might be more appropriate though.
Same advice I gave JeffyI'll be Toobin it.
Tuning in for the season two premier of "That's not my President!".
Don't count on knowing then. What a gloomy group.
I'll go to bed early as I always do, get up early, have a nice breakfast while I find out who's president, then go to work.
November third will be pretty much the same as November second and fourth.
Whoa now, not a political junkie... paying attention because the country is circling the drain does not make you a junkie. I would totally tune out politics, like I tune out scat porn, except for the fact that the current political environment demands attention, even though it is more distasteful than scat porn.Oh come on, we’re all political junkies and thus we will channel surf looking for the most favorable predictions (at the moment), we will tune over to Fox from time to time to see what they are predicting, and we will keep this up until 2 or 3am until we realize the winner isn’t going to be determined anytime soon. And we will leave with wondering not who will win but with wondering just how long will it take states like Florida and Pennsylvania to count their votes. Will it take one more day? Two more? Five more? And in the meantime we will also wonder what is Donald Trump up to in interfering with that vote count? Will Trump set loose his army of lawyers to stop everything dead in its tracks thus sending it all to the US Supreme Court? And.... how long will the US Supreme Court take to decide? So there is the answer to your most probable election night plans.
Ps, almost forgot, we will also be posting here on the forums. You know you will.
Pants or no pants? If the night is overwhelmingly blue, I'll pull out my proverbial blue suede shoes and dance dance dance. Well, it would only be the beginning, but a damn good beginning.
It may not be officially over by midnight Nov. 3 or even days later but I hope the writing is clearly on the wall that Biden/Harris have won by then.I'll watch some coverage and get high (legal state), but I'll watch knowing it's far from over.
Hell, I don't know, "the revolution will not be televised!"Pants or no pants?
That's ok, I can wait till 2024 if that's what it takes.Don't count on knowing then.
