It seems like processor power is still very important, although T&L does help.

Win2k seems to cause a real loss of score.

I would recommend downloading these

Just tried them fitzhue...my normally clocked Thunderbird+Geforce2 GTS went from 3028 to 3231.

Overclocked Thunderbird+Geforce2 GTS went from 3348 to 3589

The best part is the high detail dragothic scene, it went from 10fps-20fps to 15-30fps! Overclocked settings went from 12-21 to 19-33fps!

Maybe we should see who got the LOWEST 3dmark 2001 score. So far....I think I'm the lowest. I have a k6-2 450 and a V3 2000 and got 441 at 640x480. I can sum 3dmark 2001 on this computer in one word......CHUG! *LOL* 🙂jcwagers
