I don't understand the disdain for Trump. Pre covid we had a great economy, the lowest overall unemployment in 50 years, the lowest black unemployment ever, an improvement in the trade imbalance with China and 4 middle east peace deals. The man was doing work. People get this upset because he says mean things?

Dad? Is that you?

This is almost as exact answer my Dad gave me when we said he voted T, again.

My mother is pissed.

I could go on why that's mostly smoke and mirrors bullshit, propagated a long time NYC con man (and long suspected front for the mob), but it didn't work after 4 years, so it's not going to work here.

Fortunately, it didn't matter. T is losing as enough people saw through his lies and he's going to be fired.

Because their Progressheviks betters told them to hate Trump. No one was "put in chains" once Trump was elected and he was liked by minorities until he ran for President because he became an instant racist. The aftermath of "Russia collusion" and the impeachment showed what real scumbags are in charge of the government on the Democrat side. No one seems to care about the Dossier, Crossfire Hurricane, and the FISA warrants because Liberals seems to chalk it up as the cost of doing business and their propagandists in the media are more than willing to help.

You missed the part about the satanic baby blood drinking pedophiles.
Would have been a stronger finish.

Yes.
Driving your country to the brink of civil war
Making misinformation reality for half of the population
Unnatural relationship with Putin / Russia
Using gov for personal benefit (ukraine impeachment for just one)
etc
etc
etc

Bannon is an anarchist... why the hell you think he loves Trump so much.

One of them funny states where beer is sold in liquor stores?

I go straight to the source, 100% of all my beer is purchased directly from the brewery, as many offer curbside pickup. Last pickup was 5 cases, a stout, 2 different IPA's, a hefewizen, and a case made up of specialty beers. After this week, a reorder will be happening soon.

That's stupid. Unions are what built the middle class. Without unions, we'd have the robber barons still running things.

Unions and union representation are mostly responsible for:

40 hour work weeks
Paid vacations
Paid Holidays
Sick Leave
OSHA and safer workplaces
Weekends
All Breaks at Work, including your Lunch Breaks
FMLA
Social Security
Minimum Wage
Civil Rights Act/Title VII (Prohibits Employer Discrimination)
8-Hour Work Day
Overtime Pay
Child Labor Laws
Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA)
40 Hour Work Week
Worker's Compensation (Worker's Comp)
Unemployment Insurance
Pensions
Employer Health Care Insurance
Collective Bargaining Rights for Employees
Wrongful Termination Laws
Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967
Whistleblower Protection Laws
Employee Polygraph Protect Act (Prohibits Employer from using a lie detector test on an employee)
Veteran's Employment and Training Services (VETS)
Compensation increases and Evaluations (Raises)
Sexual Harassment Laws
Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)
Employer Dental, Life, and Vision Insurance
Privacy Rights
Pregnancy and Parental Leave
Military Leave
The Right to Strike
Public Education for Children
Equal Pay Acts of 1963 & 2011 (Requires employers pay men and women equally for the same amount of work)
Laws Ending Sweatshops in the United States

Yes, some unions and union policies have given unions a bad name, but on the whole, unions are one of the best things that ever happened to working men and women.
Yea, I had all that.

And government provide a lot on your list, unions didn't have a damn thing to do with it.

i didn't know that beer in liquor stores was on odd thing. i also often buy direct from the brewery, but that's not an option when looking for a Geuze or Lambic.

Even assuming trump was good for the economy (he really wasn't), I think it's amazing what people will overlook and settle with if it personally lines their pockets.

Because they are just like their orange idol, selfish pricks.

Living in a free country (and that is in jeoperdy) is not free. There are responsibilities and they duty to give back at many levels. Military service, community volunteering, etc., etc.

Im going to continue my life. A presidential election has never really changed *my* life with the exception of GW Bush and Clinton. They, IMHO, made the biggest problems Ive seen in my lifetime.

I don't know how old you are, but considering those two were presedents for 16 years, if you're ~30 they had a negative effect on half your life! So did they really "never change your life"?

unions pushed the government to provide those protections. You don't really think they came up with that shit on their own do you?
There were, emphasis on were, some good people in unions.

Unions had their purpose, getting kids out of coal minds, out of textile plants, etc., but that does not justify their existence since the 30's or 40's.

Seems like a lot of work, I typically buy 3 or 4 bombers from different breweries. Would be a lot of damn driving around for me if I went directly to the source. The liquor store about 3 blocks from my house has one of the best craft beer selections in So Cal. Probably 500 different ones. Also your method wouldn't work for me as I want a beer from Clown Shoes today, and I think the source is in Texas. I can't drive that far for a beer, unfortunately.

Look at states that gutted unions. Teachers make peanuts. Workers are in dangerous environments. They are needed still because people in power still can't be trusted to act honorably and without greed.

They are not needed for highly compensated or low supply positions. Ideally we'd have universal Healthcare and livable wage laws that would make most unions obsolete, but that isn't the case.

I think it is dangerous to have blanket ideologies.
