I drank a bottle of Fever Tree Ginger Beer.

It's getting chillier by the day and I just prepared a 1/2 cup of Earl Grey tea.

How is that one? I love Reed's, but it's usually $12 for a 4 pack of bottles if I can even find it. Most Ginger Ales/Beers I just don't find strong enough (Canada Dry or similar is like drinking water).

WTF is a tea capsule?! How is that a meaningful improvement over a teabag? You gotta be a completely worthless piece of shit to wrap a bit of tea in a disposable plastic cup.
 
Decided to crack open a bottle of red wine. Linderman's Shiraz.

I usually drink white but once in a while I get a craving for red. If I don't stop myself I might finish the bottle tonight lol.
 
I got this yesterday. Local distiller, and made with Maryland grapes. Has a bit of a firey edge, so I added a splash of water to tame it a little. It's good. Reminds me a bit of armagnac, and it's cool that it's local(ish).

My staple brandy(Asbach) hasn't been around for a couple years, and it's hard finding a good brandy that isn't gutter swill or cognac. Brandy just isn't popular for some reason, but it's a good value compared to scotch. That's amusing, cause I think scotch got kickstarted due to the high price of brandy :^D

Got this when I bought the brandy. Italians sure do like their sugar. It's got a nice flavor, but it's way too sweet. I don't think this is something I'll get again. I'm 0/2 so far with amaros. I want bitter, not sweet. I'm gonna try hunting down more northern Euro bitters. They seem to be more to my liking.

I LOVE a good brandy or even a good cognac. I might catch some flack for saying this but I like them even more than a good whiskey, bourbon, or scotch.

I like brandy a lot, but I find it a little uninteresting. They're all very close takes on a theme. I happen to enjoy that theme very much, but I prefer scotch, where 5 different distilleries can have dramatically different takes on the style. But brandy is great, and when I want brandy, scotch won't do. Not as well anyway.

Their pale ale, stout, and Torpedo IPA are all top tier. Previously posted Bigfoot and Celebration outstanding too. Used to really love their Southern Hemisphere Harvest with New Zealand hops maybe 10 years ago but haven't seen it in a long time.
