You sir, have some good tastes.

I'm slumming it with some Elijah Craig. If you can get it for under $25 it's a great bottle of bourbon.

Picked up several 750s of EC with a 12 year age statement @ $26.99 in a local liquor store a few months ago before they restocked with NAS. I've been able to find a few whiskeys with an age statement and/or higher proofs in local liquor stores before they restocked (Ezra Brooks 90, Old Grand Dad 86, Old Charter 8 year, etc.), . :D

I get heartburns now if I drink, wtf. I guess I'm not invincible anymore.

Drinking filtered tap water to satiate the thirst from THC.

From the Speyside to the Highlands the blah continues. ;)

Dalmore used to be a fantastic bargain. When they were first pushing into the US, you could get the standard 12yr for ~$25. As a reference, Macallan 12yr was $35+ at the time. It's every bit the equal of Macallan, but unfortunately it's also gone way up in price :^( The cigar malt's fantastic :^)

I don't remember if I've posted this in this thread or not, but this has become a staple in my cabinet. It's just about the perfect scotch to me. Not too smooth, not too strong. Not too smokey. Not under smokey. Very interesting good flavor profile (tobacco & oak) and it's around $50 a bottle. This one just hit all the right notes for me.

More so than Laphroaig? I'm drinking this tonight but it's a little too smoky for me.

Islays are best for rainy late fall days. They're one of my favorite styles, but only when the time/mood is right.
