I miss the "run around in the woods" and "fornicate like rabbits" phases of my life.

That latter goal is dangerous, though, because it usually ends with you and your wife getting woken up by a crying baby at 6 in the morning on Saturdays a year or two down the road.

Kids are loads of fun, but way too expensive. I don't mind the "work", but I can't handle the cost.

been a slow business wise the last couple weeks with getting the new roof installed, getting my chevy tracker (daily work beater) back on the road, needed brake master cyliner and new front calipers..

so this next month i'm gonna have to bust my ass to get caught back up again, looking promising though, have 3 calls lined up for monday, which are potentially big clients/possible service contracts if i make a good first impression.. i'm pretty good at it...

so, yeah, that's about it...

ah need to get out there and till part of my garden, and replant tomatoes/okra again (sat underwater for over a week, killed my tomatoes and okra, peppers survived though)

i'm up early this morning for some reason.. bout to make some coffee and start the day

Im trapped in a repeat statement each week is a fully prescribed for loop. Trying to make ends meet, invest/save money so that I can survive when my job disappears to India or China.

Pondering eating a .357 round these days.

Have been resisting it.
That would be a shame. Especially in Florida, with all that bare skin.

Where I live the girls all wear skin tight from the waist down, especially the young ones. It's disconcerting, actually.
So . . . just don't look at the young ones?

Where do you live and how are housing prices out there?
lol +1

at the moment, I'm not thinking too far ahead of just recovering from knee surgery.

had a torn quadriceps, which is pretty much the worst knee injury you can get. at the moment, I'm not allowed to bend my knee outside of physical therapy, so I can't drive (can't even get into a car except for with my legs laying across the back seat) which means that I can't commute to work and have overall pretty limited independence. can't even get my bad leg over the bathtub edge, so I'm showering with one leg in and one leg out of the bathtub, all while supporting myself on a walker. lol

and physical therapy is running me $90/week, so that's fun.
