Probably nothing. I get myself whisky this time of year, so I guess that. I have all the "stuff" I want. I spent a bunch of money this year on woodcutting. That'll do for awhile.

Maybe a new Android phone because mine is on the fritz and isn't compatible on Verizon and I'd like to switch to Verizon.

Nothing. I cannot guarantee my employer will keep me employed next year. They are making terrible business decisions that has 5/6 of the company wondering if they'll be surplussed (ahem, workforce calibrated) as they we are no longer of a telecommunications company but a content company (according to the CEO). And that means ~240K employees are no working in content and will be on the chopping block. Enjoy your cell phone service while it lasts.

Nothing. I guess I already got myself an early Christmas present a few months ago.

Probably nothing this year, There's a few things I'd like such as a 4k monitor, and I always tell myself this every year but don't end up buying one. I have lot of projects around the house that I think I will concentrate on finishing instead so I'll save my money for those.

Though I might finally give in a buy an Instant Pot. Was on the fence because I have a lot of cooking appliances already and hardly even cook, but I keep hearing so much rave about it, and it is a Canadian invention which is a bonus, so I figure I may as well jump the bandwagon. Of course, I just checked, and all the sales seem to be over. So I'll probably wait to see if they go on sale again on Boxing Day.

In general though I've been trying to save my money more now so been buying less things in general. I really need to start thinking about having an emergency fund in case I lose my job. By the time all the bills are paid there's only a few hundred bucks left and I end up spending it.

Wife and I are going to Grand Cayman (for the second time in 3 months) December 13th to the 18th and we're primarily going there so I can get my PADI Open Water SCUBA certification. I may also get my Advanced Open Water certification while I'm there too if I feel comfortable enough to do it. If I do, then I'll be diving basically Friday through Sunday, 3 dives a day. I've also bought a couple new pieces of gear such as a wetsuit and a dive computer in preparation, as well as a new set of fins that I didn't really 'need' but I wanted some new ones. So basically I got myself a bunch of SCUBA shit and a trip to get certified for Xmas.

Bought a new to me truck two weeks ago now I am buying parts to make it the way I want. It has entirely too much chrome on it but that will probably have to wait until bonus time in two weeks to resolve.

Maybe what I was going to get myself for my BDay a couple weeks ago, which is what I was gonna get myself in May. New CPU, Mobo, Win10. Already have everything else for a total new Build, except KB/Mouse. We'll see....

Black Friday is over...so now the prices won't be as good. Just regular Xmas prices and they expect people to actually buy things.

New inline skates, first pair was cheapest I could find, Velcro is falling apart. Going with a better quality model this time.

shoes and ... art ... it looks like.

I have abstained from knife purchases; though I'm surprised to see knife brands are running some enticingly real holiday sales ... for once. So much temptation. Didn't expect any deals.

My Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping ventures were my xmas presents to myself, they included a 1TB Samsung 970 Evo, a 5TB HDD, and an Xbox controller and USB bluetooth adapter for my PC. Oh, and a SanDisk 200GB MicroSD card for my phone.

The other black Friday deal I jumped on was an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet for my mother. She wanted a tablet for playing simple games like solitaire and mahjongg, I figured it would fit the bill at only $99.
