I am generally very quiet and reserved but the second someone mentions something about Republicans controlling the price of Gas I open up like a cannon. Basically I'm a Nazi on anything involving oil, other fossil fuels and alternative energy. "If we all used hydrogen to power our cars we could stop global warming!!" SILLY B1TCH!!!

Jumping on the bandwagon of opinion. You see this a lot in college.. everyone hates Bush but if you ask them why they'll say the same things:

1) He invaded to get back at Saddam for what he did to "Daddy"
-Daddy kicked Saddam's ass, plus this is just a stupid argument to begin with.

2) He invaded for oil
-I have a hard time believing that he'd go through the trouble just to drop oil prices a few cents a gallon. Even in the scenarios they were invisioning, the risk of what is happening now and the cost of the operation do not justify this.

3) He is mentally retarded.
-Actually had a guy tell me he was in fact retarded according to IQ scores. Same guy called Time magazine liars for quoting Barack Obama as admitting to using cocaine in his book. Same guy said a poll taken said most New Yorkers use the word "crazy" to define Rudy Guiliani. Sorry, while I do believe he has a twisted view on the world I wouldn't call the man mentally challenged.

Now I hate Bush just as much as anyone else, but I have my reasons at least. To just spout out this crap lets me know the person has little to no knowledge of world affairs or politics, because if you ask them how the economy has done under Bush they'll be like "Uhhh... tax cuts for the rich!" and have nothing else to say.

I'd say about 9/10 people on college campuses are like this.

/rant

Oh man, AGREED. Nearly everyone at my college is like this, and it really makes me want to go off on a tirade every time I hear it. My friend took a political science class which was basically ruined by these people- they managed to turn nearly every discussion in the "OMG BUSH SUCKS!!1!" direction.

Otherwise, I suppose I'm a bit of a Nazi about "fashion." I don't mean to say that everyone should dress a particular way, or even that I'm the most high fashion of people, but when people wear things that are either very unsuited to them (generally just things that are way too small or way too big) or things that are just garish in general (today I observed a girl wearing a tomato orange jacket, green pants, purple boots, pink gloves, and a plaid backpack with giant pom-poms on it)....it irks me.

people chewing gum or chewing with their mouths up...

Spelling, Grammar, Neatness (to a degree), Organization, etc. etc.

Ironically, you capitalized the first letter in almost all of those words.

It was a list. It's perfectly acceptable to capitalize them all.

Wastefulness.

It bothers the hell out me when people leave lights, AC, etc on unnecessarily, drive large SUVs in the city with no cargo/passengers, buy tons of crap they don't use, throw away perfectly good food or other items, and just be generally wasteful.

Yeah! Communist! Now get out there and consume, dammit! Your dollars are like electrons, flowing through the coils of a grand economic motor!

Yes, chewing noises are gross. It's bad enough that I have to deal with my own chewing, and there's no way to make that go away when the noise travels right through my own skull.

Undisciplined children. They're all a bunch of limp-wristed television-watching house-egging motherfuckers. That, and they all play Halo.

I'm kind of an energy/recycling Nazi I guess. I always make sure to turn off the lights in rooms, close doors, and turn down the heat. I also will dig recycling out of the garbage. That's not necessarily because I want to recycle more, it's a requirement here in Seattle and you can get fined if there is too much recycling in your garbage.

I'm also kind of a Nazi about people spending money on sh!t they'll get bored with quick or will never use. Usually my bitching is ignored and they buy it anyway. I think they do that just to annoy me and try to prove a point. I'm usually right in the end.

What are you a nazi about in real life?

Too many to list.

Biggest is BRATTY KIDS IN PUBLIC! I WANT TO BEAT THEM ALL AND THE PARENTS TOO.

Ahh I feel better.

Also:
Litter Bugs.
People who come in late/cut out early from work.
Poor drivers.
Poor customer service at food places.
Sloppy dress while at work.
Being idle at work.

I could go on and on.

Waste
Tailgating
Unnecessarily loud noises
Interrupting
Just generally not giving a damn
People saying they love when they don't
People who say science has proven things it hasn't proven and that I'm not allowed to disagree
Using the last of something and not replacing it or at least letting people know

I should stop now while I still can.

People treating eachother respectfully. This manifests itself less online though. I don't like watching people pick on others. Oh and lights, if you are not in the room TURN OFF THE LIGHT!!!
