Jumping on the bandwagon of opinion. You see this a lot in college.. everyone hates Bush but if you ask them why they'll say the same things:

1) He invaded to get back at Saddam for what he did to "Daddy"
-Daddy kicked Saddam's ass, plus this is just a stupid argument to begin with.

2) He invaded for oil
-I have a hard time believing that he'd go through the trouble just to drop oil prices a few cents a gallon. Even in the scenarios they were invisioning, the risk of what is happening now and the cost of the operation do not justify this.

3) He is mentally retarded.
-Actually had a guy tell me he was in fact retarded according to IQ scores. Same guy called Time magazine liars for quoting Barack Obama as admitting to using cocaine in his book. Same guy said a poll taken said most New Yorkers use the word "crazy" to define Rudy Guiliani. Sorry, while I do believe he has a twisted view on the world I wouldn't call the man mentally challenged.


Now I hate Bush just as much as anyone else, but I have my reasons at least. To just spout out this crap lets me know the person has little to no knowledge of world affairs or politics, because if you ask them how the economy has done under Bush they'll be like "Uhhh... tax cuts for the rich!" and have nothing else to say.

I'd say about 9/10 people on college campuses are like this.

Certain words being misspelled drives me nuts. Not everyone can - or cares to - spell perfectly (or even well), however simple words used often in written communication...how can you NOT spell them right? And not only are they spelled differently, they have completely different meanings!

Main example:

then vs. than

then: indicative of time or sequence. "I got home, then walked the dog."
than: a comparison. "My dog can poop bigger than your dog."

Punctuality by far. I have a very low tolerance for people who can't seem to ever be somewhere on time. Most who do it are habitual about it and it portrays them as someone who's not very dependable.
