We did it cause we are scrapers and look for abandoned places. I knew when we broke the locks off it wasn't abandoned but we were there and decided to just do it anyways. The stuff we stole was probably under $1000.

There is no such thing as "abandoned places". You've just admitted committing a series of crimes.

That lawyer people keep mentioning to you, the first thing he or she will tell you is StFU.

Scrapping (taking "abandoned" stuff or flat out stealing not "abandoned" stuff according to the OP) apparently pays well enough to hire "one of the best lawyers in chicago." Or is that daddy's lawyer? Either way, one of the best lawyers in Chicago ought to be able to handle it without any advice from ATOTers.

Yea I hired one of the best lawyers in chicago and he said I should get nothing more than a slap on the wrist(probation). He said if I ever steal again though(long story short) I'm fucked. trust me when I say I am sorry for stealing whether u believe me or not idc.I just wanted to see the opinion of some other ppl. Thanks to some that actually replied with a meaningful response.

You're only sorry because you got caught. People like you don't belong in public. Hope you rot.

Oh an if I were U I'd ask a administrator to delete this whole thread so some stickler does not send a copy to DA as evidence of you being a weasel and trying to skip out of this. DA will be like oh yeah "he thinks he can get this reduced and hired best lawyer... I'll show him."

Too late. ;)
