I cant blame it on one person so I cant do that. Im not a bad person Im really not. Ive never done anything like this before. None of us were bad kids in school we very rarely ever got in trouble. I am truly sorry for what I did but I can go back in time. Anyways thanks.

Just wondering, which Lawyer did you (your parents) hire?

<---Cop in IL

And yes, everyone makes mistakes. Just not felony level mistakes. Do it again and the States Attorneys around here will not be willing to budge on any deal.

Ah ok. I haven't heard of him, just wondering if you got any Attorney's I've heard of from around my parts (DuPage County area.) Seeing as how we are on opposite sides and I can't give legal advice to someone like yourself, I'll just say good luck and stay outta trouble for the next 5 years or so (preferably forever)

You dont even know the story or me...but w/e its the internet :)

from your earlier post:

We did it cause we are scrapers and look for abandoned places. I knew when we broke the locks off it wasn't abandoned but we were there and decided to just do it anyways. The stuff we stole was probably under $1000.

What more is there to know? You admitted that you broke locks and stole someone else's property.

This is one area I think we could use some Islam. Crime and punishment.

Would you have stolen if you lost a hand for doing it?

I'm not going to come down on you since society breed the system and gets the results of it just an honest question.

You could probably talk to your lawyer to see if you can attempt rectify the situation with the person/business you stole from... like do a bunch of work for them for free (if they would trust you not to rip them off)

This wouldn't eliminate the charges, but may lower charges/sentencing if they would be willing to testify that you made some sort of amends after the fact. It couldn't hurt, and I'm sure they could find some real shit work for you and your friends to pay them back -- which it looks like you know you deserve.

Oh an if I were U I'd ask a administrator to delete this whole thread so some stickler does not send a copy to DA as evidence of you being a weasel and trying to skip out of this. DA will be like oh yeah "he thinks he can get this reduced and hired best lawyer... I'll show him."

Testify against your buddies and they will likely combine all three into one misdemeanor B&E charge. Heck, around here they would likely do that anyways. Fight and go to trial and you'll be screwed. Get the best deal you can rolling on your friends.

Oh yeah, your an idiot and need you ass kicked for stealing other peoples stuff. Get a job and buy your own crap. I have no sympathy for thieves.

Story/offense

Burglary

Three men were arrested Wednesday night for burglary to three storage units in rural Bourbonnais. Arrested were x,x , and x, all 19, all of 5099 W. 9000N Road near Manteno.

The men were arrested by Kankakee County sheriff's police and were later turned over to Bourbonnais police when it was determined that the burglary was in their jurisdiction.

A witness, who rents two of the units, told police that he saw three people inside a vehicle that he did not recognize, leaving the area as he arrived. He followed the vehicle to a residence near Deselm where he recognized some of his property, a bench grinder and golf clubs, sitting next to the house.

Police also connected the three to a 10-ton hayrack that had been taken from the storage units and left in a ditch on Career Center Road. Other items recovered include a 15-inch drill press, two mower heads and some scrap metal.

All three remain in custody at the Kankakee County jail.

Now what are the chances of this getting lowered? We do not have any criminal record prior to this and were all gonna go to school or the military. If you need any other info let me know. If you feel the need to call me and asshole or anything go ahead cause I know what I did was wrong but please stay on topic if u can. Thanks!

Wow, so you just admitted you're a repeat felon (scrapper). You go onto properties where nobody lives and steal all of their metal. Get.a.fcking.job.

I'd suggest making it as easy/quick as reasonably possible for the court. You can pay for a lawyer, but the fine you pay probably won't cover the entire cost of having all the staff there for the trial. They'll get bored and start looking at you as another kind of troublemaker.

Ya rly. I didn't forward it..but given he admitted he is a repeat scrapper, I can't say I'd be sorry if someone did. http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/about/email_ag.jsp

I doubt the states AG is handling this case. :) Probable the local police and local DA.

But being this is ATOT, I would not be surprised that a MOD has sent this to the police/DA of that town. ;)

What about these three storage units made you think they were abandoned to begin with? :hmm:

And did you think removing your names from the article would do anything? Google man!

Was Andrew1990 one of the other kids who got arrested?

And how the hell did you move 10 tons?

Are you on drugs, son?
