I didn't say anything about anarchy, you did. All I said was that its not justifed for them to do this, and it's the truth. One thing is that, the Sherrifs (SP) here are actually nice, unlike the Local Police.

Well, hust to be contrary, here's a list of things I'm for that are unpopular:
DDT
The rest of your list was fine, but I have to ask if you even have any idea why this stuff was banned?
Thousands in Africa die of malaria every year because they can't afford more expensive alternatives to mosquito control, but we can't produce it because there is a small risk of cancer, or worse, their is evidence of correlation but not causation that it harms bird's eggs.
Are you going to quote the chicken stuides to back that up?

I have been pulled over 3 times, each time taking at least 15 minutes, then to be told ok you can go.

They have no reason, or said anything why they pulled me over. That's BS.

Don't blame the cops. Blame the courts for allowing that to happen and erroding your rights in the name of the war on drugs.

Trust me, no one in this forum would last a day in a world without law enforcement.

You little sh!ts like to talk about anarchy, but you have no idea what it really means.

I have every idea of what it's like, and it's not fun.

If I got arrested & beat up by the police it would probably be the result of a prank--I am a cop. If you don't file a complaint in the case of actual wrongdoing then you're allowing it to exist. If you're not willing to fight for your rights, why should you enjoy them?

Then don;t make such blanket statements.

Say. "I'm against cops who abuse their power" instead of, "I'm against cops."

3. People who shove their religion down your throat
4. People with closed minds
5. Cheating
6. Cruelty to animals

I have to think of some more. :)

I assume you are a vegetarian and don't wear leather either right?

No, I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat much meat. I don't wear leather.

Seems a little inconsistent don't you think?

Isn't wearing fur and wearing leather the same thing...?
Yeah, I guess if by fur you mean cow fur.
I was asking because there are a lot of people who are anti-fur but don't hesitate to put on a leather belt, carry a leather wallet, wear leather shoes, and sit in a car with leather upholstery. For a lot of people, it's only morally wrong if the animal in question is cute and cuddly looking.

By inconsistent, I meant being against hunting but not being a vegetarian.
I've never been hunting and don't plan on going.
I just don't think it makes sense to say that it's ok to eat cows and chickens and pigs that somebody else killed for you, but it's not ok for someone to go deer hunting.

I'm against the massive amount of violence on tv.
How come violence and murder is all right on television but nudity and sex isn't? I think it should be the other way around, there would be more love and less violence.
If you are unsure, ask yourself this. Would you rather have a gun or a boobie in your face? (Girls substitute boobie with your favorite male body part) :D

1) Learn how to type and spell...you don't have to be 100% accurate all the time, but at least make it readable.

2) What are you, 12? "Yea yea, cops beat up meh thugz all da time yo! Dem be n!gga haterz!"

3) Even if you were beat up, why have you not persued any action against said department and/or officers that did it?

A rock and a hard place. :p

Seriously, I'm against legislating what consenting adults do behind closed doors. Privacy concerns aside, could that be any more Puritanical?

I'm also against the continued criminalization of marijuana. At least make it a slap-on-the-wrist offense, not a you-get-sent-to-PMITAP offense.

P.S. And outsourcing to foreign countries. Congrats Corporate America, way to take advantage of poor exchange rates and no minimum wages, not to mention shafting U.S. Citizens out of jobs.

P.P.S. And animal cruelty. Not eating meat, 'cause meat is tasty. Just animal cruelty. I  my kitten. =^_^=

1. People who are against things.
2. People who are against other people wearing the skin and hair of dead animals on their person.
3. People who don't know how good deer can be. Yum.
4. People...no, wait, I'm cool w/ ATTN whores.
5. Loud music. Volume knob + amp > compression.
6. People who seem to care more about celebrity gossip than their own lives.
7. People who read People. And Us Weekly, and Entertainment, etc.
8. Mormons. Because I hate that which I will likely not be: a millionaire from Jeapordy.
9. Will Smith. Not counting MiB and ID4, he detracts from any movie he is in.
10. People who make bad MP3s. I'm not DLing music now, not because I feel for the RIAA (I don't, but luckily the last several CDs have been real CDDA), but because it is easier to pay $8-$15 for a CD than spend days trying to get a decent set of MP3s for a single album. Oh, and see #5.

I was thinking of the Venison Stew I had at a Knights of Columbus fundraiser through my Catholic Junior High. It was the first time I'd ever had it and I was hooked instantly. So rich and thick and good. The meat was so tender, but it kept getting stuck between my teeth. Still worth it though.

Damn... now I gotta run down to Butler Meats and see if they have any Venison in. (I love that place. Every so often they get in Elk and Moose and all sorts of good stuff)

You have so many contradictions in your list, I don't even know where to start.

well, here's one

Business as Entities and Government Interference in Private Matters are completely contradictory.

I disagree. Government ALLOWING businesses the rights of an individual is interferance. Businesses aren't alive, and thereby have no rights. The people that own/run/work the businesses have rights, but the business itself does not truly exist.

By that reasoning they are not contradictory. Furthermore, your warrant is that a business is a private matter. However, I was speaking of private matters like the bedroom, beliefs, etc.

I see no contradictions, but feel free to point out any others so I can continue to explain them and discredit you.

If business (we're talking corporation) can not truly exist, then how can they be sued? How can they enter into contracts? How can they be awarded contracts? How can they be taxed?

And Privacy is privacy. What a private business, and to a limited extent public companies, do should be the sole discretion of that business.

Doesn't stating No. 4 invalidate the rest of your list?

I'm sorry but I can't open my mind to people who hurt animals and hurt their children by smoking around them. I didn't know being open-minded means you support killing and hurting...

Look Tinkerhell, having an open mind is nothing more than trying to tell the world that you are tooooolerant. pshhhhh, tolerance is the worst word in the English language. It should be stripped from the dictionary and be forgotten. Tolerance is what gives us our individuality. If everyone was open minded, then everyone would be the same, because any dislike or moray the person held would be discarded as intolerance or "closed-mindedness".

Whether you believe it or not you are Close-Minded. You are close minded about parents who smoke around THEIR children. You are close-minded about people who wear fur. You are close-minded about hunting. Recognize I did not say that those opinions are bad, but when you form that opinion you have automatically closed your mind to the other side. Otherwise you wouldn't care if someone wore fur, hunted or smoked around their children, now would you?

In no particular order

abortion (exactly the same as meditated/hired murder, I can't figure out why it's still happening)

people who smoke

liars

people who say they are racist yet pull out thier "I'm a minority card" at the first sign of a topic they don't like

people who are against hunting/fishing

people who poach and make the good hunters/fishermen look bad

cruelty to animals/kids/people in general

Gov. Rick Perry

Broke people who complain that they should have a better life, but don't work for it.

people who drive poorly (esp. on the highway, if the speed limit is 70 at least drive 65 or find an alternate road, if no alternate road is available pull over on the shoulder when it is safe so the 20 car backup can get around you)

alcoholics

snow (hey, I'm from Texas, luckily we only see it for maybe 2-5 days a year)

dumb@sses on jetski's (some people are respectable drivers others are just @ssholes)

people who don't understand the un-ending benifits to bass fishing

people who litter

people who don't even try to follow the ten commandments

fat people who complain about being fat (with the exeption of the EXTREMELY FEW medical disorders) shut up and change your lifestyle you sloth b@st@rds, or stop complaining, cause I didn't make you eat all that food or tell you that you can't excersize.

ahhh, anger management.......I feel better, thanks for the thread Tink. :D

edit: Florda's voting system

Oklama's lack of a safety inspection for automobiles (the lack of brake lighs and turn signals is getting more dangerous by the day)

Venison is the best tasting meat ever (I prefer it to beef/chicken/pork/etc.), it's not gamey if it's cooked properly. My favorite is triple crisped deep fried backstrap steaks, next favorite is 16hr slow smoked quarter rump roast marinated with thousand island italian dressing.
