I started using my zipcode as a password, then names of each of my victims before finally being incarcerated.

my first computer password ever was "password"

if security required a number, i would append "1". if it required a symbol, i append "!"

fwiw, ive never used my name, birth year, or anything typical like that

i have a very simple scheme for all my passwords. it would NOT be dififcult at all if you wanted to crack my virtual life 🙂

edit: swear to god all my numeric combinations are "22222..". if you knew me in real life you could steal my bike or luggage

i have a friend who is an amateur drummer/musician. his password would be a tap rhythm or a piano string typed on the keyboard... i like it

one of my friends used to use this as his comp password

asdfghjkl;'

if you go all the way down, you hit enter and takes u in to the comp. I never thought of it lol

Those are similar to what I tend to use.

And I keep my passwords saved on my computer - in a password-protected file, with dual-layer encryption. 🙂

do you keep that password in another password protected file

one website had a rule that it must have 2 numbers for part of the password.

i had something like xxx0xxx6, but that didn't work. but xxxxxx06 did work. they didn't mention the numbers had to be consecutive. kind of annoying

My previous 3 have been:
April2009
May2009
June2009

Obviously, I'm not going to tell you my current one.
