I always think its really interesting know what other people use as passwords

when I first started the internet I used the password 'password' a few times (who hasn't) and then they started to not let you

I used 'whatsup' as a password before

one time I used "cashm0ney$" because a website had so many rules (number, symbol, etc) and then started using it for other stuff

At the moment I have two random words and 2 numbers (mixed in) as a password for important stuff, and then a less secure password I use for semi important stuff and then a third one (that sucks security wise) for shit I don't care about

post some of your old passwords or someone else's password you've seen before

the kids I used to babysit used their last name and then one number as a password

a spammer or someone trying to figure what are the best common passwords to try for nefarious software would find this most interesting.

Work email password at work requires minimum 6 letters with at least:
one uppercase letter
a number
a special character

I usually end up doing song titles/bands. Eg. St@1rw@y, Th3Wh0!, Fr33B1rd! etc.

Wow, lame attempt at social engineering.

Certain systems at work require a MINIMUM of 15-character password; upper/lower case, at least 2 numbers and two special symbols. And we have to change it every 45 days. :( It's a PITA to memorize a new one of those every 45 days.

what, you mean you haven't figured out how to pick one, and then add a number at the end, incrementing it every 45 days? :p

those rules are called Strong passwords, and they should be required for every site you have a password on.
