Woohoo! A Talk Talk fan! In my incomplete opinion, I think Spirit of Eden is the most remarkable album of the 20th century.
No, not to me anyway. The Party's Over was their best IMO, followed closely by The colour of Spring. Spirit of Eden was the ultimate in depression, so much so that I can hardly stand to listen to it. Are they still together?

<< kasey chambers - not pretty enough >>

Woohoo! Another Kasey fan (btw, appears she - and the baby - are fine after she collapsed on stage...she's back home and will be playing again this month!)

But...for a sad song, I'd have to pick:
Goodbye - Patty Griffin from Flaming Red
What Can Never Be - Sinead Lohan from No Mermaid
Sweet Old World - Lucinda Williams from Sweet Old World
Your Blue Room - Passengers (U2) from Passengers
Make The World Go Away - Eddie Arnold
All By Myself - Eric Carmen
Don't Leave Me Now - Pink Floyd from Wall (if that doesn't make you wanna kill yourself I don't know what will ;) )
