And I don't know how but I got $2300 from carmax for my G37S.
I did the online offers for carmax, carvana, and one other, and they all came back at like $1500 - $1700 for the most part.
Then randomly I tried carmax again few days ago and they offered $2300.
Then the next day I tried doing it again and this time NOT disclosing that my AC is jacked up to see how much more the offer would be. And then they offered me $1900 so I was like WTF?
So today I went in with the $2300 offer and just told em the only mistake I made was that I put 176k miles but it's really 178k miles. The lady didn't really care and was like "when they check the car out they will read the odometer and see that". Other than that, I also did not disclose that my exhaust is messed up and the Y pipe is completely detached from the mufflers so it's loud as shit. And I also did not disclose that my gas gauge does not work. I didn't really intentionally not disclose that, but the online form I filled out had no places to enter either of that information. And then I never talked to anyone else.
After I talked to that lady she said to sit down and in like 30-40 mins I will be called over and they will have my offer. Well that offer was exactly what the initial one was- $2300, so I said yah lets do this. About another 30 minutes later I was out the door with my check.
