Phenom II X2 550 Black. Given to me by an AMD salesrep. The price was right 🙂.

Haven't touched anything OC-wise, as it sits in my fileserver/virtualization machine, and I can't afford any potential instability.

Also have an AthlonXP 2500+ "Barton" in another machine. Still soldiering on.

Where do I post my K6-3+ running at 600MHz? This is my file server that has run 24/7 for years (& years).

I have a laserprinter (Lexmark Optra R+) which uses a 40MHz AMD CPU in its print rendering engine. On that same note...where do I vote for it?

This thread got revived huh. Currently got in almost daily use.
Phenom X4 9850
Phenom II X4 940
Athlon II X4 630

10 years of building systems now. Flip flop back/forth between Intel and AMD every few years. I built an original Athlon Slot A system (frustrating). Flipped to a P4 a few years later. Had a couple of Athlon XPs in my backup rigs. Dumped Intel for Athlon 64 Newcastle which kept me happy until Core 2 came out. Most recent 3 years with a Socket 775, but now I'm back with AMD. I'd probably still be using my Core2 Quad, but my 3 year old P35 motherboard started having fits and I couldn't really find a replacement board that wouldn't require me to get DDR3 as well. So, time to switch.

Last week, I grabbed a Phenom II 1055T from my nearby Microcenter along with MB and Memory. I debated getting an 1156 board and an I5 760, but without Microcenter's bundle discount, the price was quite a bit more. Given that both the 1156 and the AM3 are near the end of their lives, I chose the cheaper option. Sold my Core 2 Quad for a bit more than paid for the 1055T.

I'm happy to be back with AMD. Even though the 1055T doesn't win in many benchmarks, it is just cool to say I have a hexacore!

Happy with my Phenom II 965 running in my main rig, slightly overclocked 200mhz with stock cooling.

Currently on the AMD side I still use the following:

AMD Athlon X2 3800+ @ 2GHz (NAS)
AMD Athlon II X4 620 @ 3.2GHz (HTPC)
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 3.8GHz (Family Gaming PC)

Retired my old Athlon XP 2500+, Abit NF7-S system last year to be replace by the Athlon X2, DFI NF4 combo. It still runs just fine but was beginning to show it's age in file transfer speeds.

with just a stock sink i have my 4800+ X2 up from 2.4 to 12.5 X 250 = 3.125 and run ~107 deg F. just a little AM2+ ASUS M3N78-VM

1) Phenom II X6 1090T BE in my home office PC (DC crunching machine)
2) Phenom II X4 965 BE in my master bedroom PC (personal/secondary DC crunching machine)

X6 1055T. My 1st PC had an AMD 486 SX/66 under the hood.
