What accomplishments has obama made during his time in office?

This came up in another thread and I think it deserves its own. Lets list the things Obama has accomplished while in office:

Record number of people not working.
Record number of people on welfare.
Record number of American killed by their government without trial.
Record high health insurance costs.
Worst international relations in history.

Feel free to add some positive ones. I'm sure there has to be at least one?

1. Higher population = higher unemployment
2. See above
3. What?
4. Inflation..... everything today costs more than it did yesterday
5. Ok

While I have to agree with most of your post, I had to take exception here.

You know what's bad? I can't think of a single one.
..or the guy before him, either.
I think Clinton might have done a good thing or two..maybe..
It sure wasn't NAFTA.

Getting 10 million people health insurance (while screwing multitudes more) does not equal healthcare reform.

I will say this though... at least Obama did one thing right. I can jailbreak my phone legally now. Small consolation for a turd of a presidency.

His 2nd term might be justified in my view just because of his stance on Net Neutrality alone.

Things Obama has done:
Traded 5 terrorist leaders for 1 traitor/deserter.
It's late..that's all I have right now. 😛

Methinks Obama's most worthy accomplishment has been to keep the presidency out of the hands of corporatists like Rumsfeld, Cheney, the Bush brothers and Romney, or faux religious fundies like Perry, or whackjob Tea Party nutters like Cruz and Palin.

Simply imagining what these folks would be willing to do to our nation to further their personal agendas is horrifying to say the least, and thinking of what has become of our nation that folks like that could even be considered as our nation's top leader is even scarier than that.

lol, you stupid hick. try going to college and learning stuff.

That's how our political system works these days. Nothing you have described is out of the norm.

Democrats and Republicans are not required to work together. They have different ideologies and as such, it is naive to think that they would. A lot of people act like this situation is something new, a change. It's not.

While there are times when it has been as bad or worse and many times when it has been better... it hasn't been this bad before the mid aughts of this century for a long time.

President Reagan and the Democratic Speaker of the House O'Neill occasionally would have drinks in the White House after work....

Only someone high on schedule one drugs could imagine House Speaker Boehner and President Obama sharing a drink in the White House unless there was an extraordinary circumstance... filibusters were not a matter of course for the Senate in the in 80s and 90s as they have been in the past few years.

this above chart also gives lie to the oft suggested talking point that the Democratic party had control of Congress for 2 years from 2009 to 2011. Even if you're in the majority you cannot be in control of the Senate if the minority party is willing to veto so often that so that any major item that a President would sign requires a 60 vote super majority.

This current situation should not be accepted by anyone but there are some voters who want it to continue... they aren't patriots they are partisan. Their elected representatives aren't serving they're constituents they are serving party above all else.

To imply that the current situation is the norm and should be expected is disingenuous... It is not the norm it is poison politics that has reared it's head in the history of U.S. politics... but has not been so bad for a long time.

To imply that it is the norm that the Founding Fathers wanted or that we should accept this recent and disheartening aberration as such is pretty much a bald faced lie.

Have you seen any of boomerangs posts? I don't think I've ever seen him post anything other than lies. The guy has some serious mental issues and he should be treated as such.
