What AAA PC games have you purchased in 2011?

Just curious what everyone was excited about and played this year that was a AAA PC release.

For me:

Deux Ex HR
Rift
Skyrim
F.E.A.R. 3
Batman Arkham City
Portal 2
Dirt 3
Warhammer Retribution Expansion

Forget if Starcraft II was 2011. Also Rift, Portal 2 from your list. Watching for Skyrim, HOMM 6 and Deux Ex HR sales this black friday (might get HOMM 50% off on Amazon).

Does it count that I just got Duke Nuke Forever for $5.99 on the PS3?🙂

Or World of Tanks since it's cost $75 so far and wants more?

May have forgotten some.

Rift
Skyrim
F.E.A.R. 3
Batman Arkham City
Portal 2
Dirt 3
Warhammer Chaos Rising Expansion

Chaos Rising was 2010.

Retribution was 2011 and my only AAA title purchase in 2011. It was poor and not worth the money.

I also have Deus Ex HR but that came with my new graphics card. Haven't even installed it yet.

Skyrim and Rift. Got lots of good hours out of Rift, but grew tired of the MMORPG scene and left.

Of course, if I see some tasty sales on these games this week, I'll be in the buying spirit.

BF3
Skyrim
SWTOR
**Was hoping for D3 too but that got bumped

So many awesome games...so little time.

Deus Ex HR is the only one so far. I usually wait till GOTY(or gold/platinum whatever edition) with all DLC to purchase games.

Nothing yet. Depending on how I feel after a second week of beta testing, I will likely be pre-ordering SW:TOR. I will buy Batman: AC very soon as well, but most others I will be waiting for a sale of some sort (want SS3, DE:HR, Portal 2, and Duke Nukem).

BF3
Dead Island (bought, not played much)
Rage
Skyrim (still getting into)
Duke Nukem

Not sure if I would cound portal 2 as a AAA, but got that one as well.

Otherwise still playing older games from last year (TeamFortress 2) and indi games.

I believe BF3 was the only one and I am still considering TOR.

EDIT: I did buy L4D2 and Borderlands this year -- forgot about those. I rarely buy games these days.

BF3
Rage
Batman AC
Skyrim
Deus Ex HR
Total War Shogun 2 (bought on Steam, don't know when released)
Starcraft 2 (bought late)

Considered AAA?
Minecraft
Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity

Waiting on price drops:
Dead Island
Stronghold 3 (like the series, but apparently 3 stinks - waiting for $5 deal)

The Witcher 2
Rifts

All the other big releases I can wait until they drop in price because I've got enough to keep me entertained.

DXHR
Portal 2
Batman AC
Witcher 2
Shogun 2

As always with Bethesda games/Elder Scroll games, I'll wait until the bugs have been mostly patched out before I'll buy it.

The Witcher 2
Portal 2
Saints Row 3
Duke Nukem Forever (if you consider that one to be AAA lol)

The Witcher 2
Portal 2
Saints Row 3
Crysis 2
Batman: Arkham City
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Dead Island

I'm probably forgetting a few. 😱

Portal 2
Skyrim
Saints Row The Third
Deus Ex: HR
Witcher 2
DNF (right? right?)
Dead Island
Battlefield 3
Crysis 2
Red Faction: Armageddon

I think that's it for big games that I bought on PC.

Not many so far:
- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
- Batman: Arkham City
- Crysis 2
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Waiting on a good deal before I get these:
- Anno 2070
- Skyrim
- Tropico 4

I was planning on HoMMVI but I'm doubtful I will enjoy this game now, considering the changes they brought to the game mechanics. Stronghold 3 seems to be a turd unfortunately.

None, last game I bought this year actually came out last year, metro 2033.
Will get skyrim when its 20 bucks.

Bought nearly all of them at launch but paid nearly half in most cases which was why I did get them instead of waiting.

The Whitcher 2
Warhammer 40k Space Marine
Dungeon Siege 3 paid about 1/2 price on launch due to some coupon thing involving Direct2Drive

Dead Island paid like $30 at launch Greenmangaming
Alice Madness Returns half off Steam sale

Portal II
DoW II: Retribution
SCII: Wings of Liberty
EDIT: Got Civ5 + Expansions during Fall Steam sale. Methinks you may have to wait until the Steam Holiday sale is over to get a true idea of what people got in "2011".

Considering getting Rage, The Witcher 2 and/or Skyrim, but not until it drops under the $20 range (I'd give it about 6 mos tops)

If also considering consoles:

Dance Central 2
Catherine(Will be xmas present)
