So, in other words, there's no difference in the real world. The sustained transfer speed isn't anywhere near any of those numbers. During bursts of reading what the hard drive was able to stuff in its cache, you'll get a slight difference.Originally posted by: fitzov

ATA100 allows for up to 100MB/sec data transfer, and ATA133 up to 133. That's an increase of 33%. SATA allows up to 150.
