That's really not fair to Ken. Hope he posts.

Your right; I don't want to band-wagon someone just because he calls everyone an ass-hat.

Alive What I mean is, how should we play the seer?

I agree that if we collectively state who it should be we'll do better.

Anyone want to do the truth table on this one?

well we may start a second voting also for whom the seer must check
after 2-3 turns the seer and fool will come out and tell the findings

that will give 3 names to go around plus the seer which will give team good a good majority to lynch the bad ones

The only real way to play the seer/fool roles is to have each keep investigating and hope one of them comes across an inconsistency. The only way for that to happen (that I can see) would be having someone previously investigated lynched. You'd then be able to compare what you know from the lynch with what you received as "seer". Of course, it's not foolproof (har har), since the fool may have randomly gotten accurate information on that person.

That's probably the only way to trust what they find, they would have to choose someone in advance, investigate and then try to sway popular opinion to lynch that person though.

Thats just it, even if the lynched person matched what the seer was told, they may have gotten a random correct statement. You would really need that to happen twice to feel good about being the seer.

How noble of you drum, I'm sure the townspeople all appreciate your selflessness.

Would there be any benefit to instructing the two seers to investigate the same person? We'd get two separate answers about that person, but we'd know that one of them is true.

Does the fool get truly random results, or is there any influence of the moderator in what information the fool gathers?

The Fool's results from an investigation are truly random (using random.org).

well we can not use the seer fool independent cause it would mean that we will actually know them and thus the woolfs will know them so we will give them as food to them.

the who speaks the most doesnt necessarily say the most ;)

although thanks for not voting me off the first hit lol

I am a normal villager.

The body guard should know to guard himself every other night; unless someone that may be important is know.

Any ideas on how to run the seer folks?

Oh yea, and Monkeny I'm willing to change my vote; but I'd like to hear from you.

If we are calling roles Im a villager too. So sadly you wont see much of me as all I can do to contribute is vote.

hmmm but since Moto isnt posting I vote for him. T_Yamamoto

I don't see the problem. If the two seers investigate the same person and both get the same answer, we know that it is a true answer. If the answers differ, then we only know that 1 of them is true.

ALIVE makes a good point that indentifying the seers makes them targets for the wolves, however.
