From what I've read on Carter he was quite weak on foreign affairs. I know he was critized fir not doing more with the hostage situation in Iran. Plus, the economy was performing pretty badly under his leadership.

People will be waiting to see who will become Bernie's heir apparent. Kingmaker in the North. New DNC chair coming in too. Hillary is out. I think she knows it's time to be a grandma full time.
 
Actually, the hope of her running again, for some, may help keep the Clinton Foundation afloat. As long as they think there is some more influence to buy, they may keep investing. If she declares that she's done forever, the foundation will whither away, as there is nothing to invest in. That seems logical to me.

With the support and/or flat out admiration of the guy I saw from both sides, I really think he would have absolutely crushed at least the popular vote. I don't buy him losing to the likes of Trump, even having to contend with the dreaded soshulism boogeyman. Only someone under 24/7 character assassination for 20+ years could lose to a guy like Trump. Shit, look what it brought out in the FBI.

If only Bernie did something about the DNC rigging the primaries. He would have taken those critical states that Hillary did not win. Tis a shame... although I don't agree at all with Bernie's political ideology... he did not have the political machine (Soros) behind him like Hillary. He would have been a much more compromising president in order to get things done. Instead we have a divide which will likely roll over into the next election.
