It's gonna be Clinton, Michael Dukakis and Walter Mondale in 2020. And if any of them dies of old age in the interim it would only help their popularity.

Maybe there's a potential reality show idea here. Kinda like Dancing with the Stars but with failed POTUS candidates. Each week could end with a thrilling elimination challenge. First episode, standup comedy, Dukakis vs. Gore. Second episode, rap battle to the death McCain vs. Romney. Et cetera until in the Grand Finale we force the last two to fight the gladiators in Running Man.

I suspect the Democrats would actually be hesitant to run Clinton again, both because of 2016's results (assuming they hold) and because it would look like Clinton is desperate.

My guess: the party is hoping for someone with that Obama-like mix of charisma and reasonableness. Not that it will get someone with that exact vibe, just someone whose sensible policy is backed up by an engaging personality (unlike Trump, who is only personality). And no, it won't be Bernie Sanders... he's 75 now, and running for President when you're 79 is always pushing it.
It would also be best for them and the nation to be more inclusive instead of divisive as in this last election.

Everyone matters. Their needs may be different, but they are very real.

LOL.

You heard it here first. She has everyone in place, might as well hang on another 4 years and lose for a 3rd time.

Maybe with good medical care she can live long enough to beat Henry Clay's record of losses.

If Trump continues being a Twitter Tard and his admin is as bad as it looks like it will be, even the OP would be willing to vote Hillary in 2020.

Nah, I see her and her vast right wing conspiracy rant just replays in my head.

Jeezus...as a life-long Democrat, I hope to fuck the party and Dem voters can find a better candidate than Hillary...one who's not the Socialist Bernie was...

I see a lot of people who think Bernie could have beaten Trump. I don't think so. He's TOO FAR left for a lot of us old-school Democrats who are closer to tbe center than the left.

There you have it, Monica was a right wing plant

Nope, keep trying though. Funny you should mention that though, since she ultimately was the only flaw in Bill's Presidency that the Right was able to pin on him after thoroughly investigating all the other allegations they made against him.
