Anyone figure out how to load up on more than 6 supplies?

Also, sucks that I have all of these skills ready to be trained at Expert Level, but have no trainer to do it.

What trainer skills you looking for?...Also quite a few trainers in Seahaven.

further into the game the suppliers will sell you more supplies (it is a function of the supplier, not your level)... I think you can get 12-13 in Seahaven pretty early on. The cart in the woods outside Sorpigal will get you to 9 and it's not too hard to get to (just a few wolves, spiders).

Finding trainers is part of the game... certain skills are hard to max out early because the expert and master trainers are hard to get to until you are higher level. But that shouldn't be a problem in limiting your ability to get through the game.

What cart in the woods? The only cart I found was outside the Governors Castle and I couldn't activate it. ..Maybe I was standing in the wrong spot

Am I the only one that would like to see a new Dark Messiah?

you need to find her in her first two towers first. one in the shadow woods and... i I don't remember where she is the 2nd time. Maybe the Marshes? Basically you need to chase her around. Once you see her twice, then'll she'll be at her tower in the jungle.

Grand Master is not supposed to be easy. For lots of them you will need to do quests before they even let you train

Lost City can easily be done on level 20 on the normal difficulty level. I find the game becomes a lot less difficult once you hit around level 20.

Yup, thats the one thing they kept consistent through the games. Quests for grandmastery, and quests for class changes (when they have them).

I'm at level 31 now, having magic users is really a powerhouse in this game especially with AOE range spells, high mana stats and plenty of mana pots also helps lot.

Doing the prison break at the moment and finding it quite easy, still fun solving those puzzles etc.

I have done all the promotions ie druid elder promotion, shaman, crusader to paladin and runepriest lord so got a few to grandmaster level, yes it does become a lot easier but those puzzles and all the unexplored areas and quests keep it interesting.

location location location. Not sure I finsihed at level 34 - did everything but get dodge grandmaster (which is not a quest per sey). Or I should say every quest I found.

Btw are you playing on warrior or adventure ? I found the crystal spider challenging since he could one shot my party with his ranage attack.

So you finished already?..Old M&M games were quite long ,this one appears not to be the case....I'm playing on normal setting which is adventure, looking back maybe warrior setting would of been better for me.

Loving this game so far! Yes, including (and maybe because of the grid system). I think it's small because they publisher wasn't convinced enough that there would be a market for this type of games, so they agreed to fund a small game to 'test the waters' so to speak. I hope it sells well and opens the door for more games like this, because it is my type of game :)

Seems pretty long to me? I don't have it on Steam so can't track the hours but I'm guessing I've done at least 50.

I really like this game. It feels very much like a might and magic game which is great. I was worried they were going to destroy the setting like EA did with Ultima with their horrible Ultima Forever game.

It was long enough for myself; not sure how long it took - somewhere between 30 and 60 hours. I played warrior and had to reload a lot since wrong step could easily lead you from wimpy foe to insta-death. My biggest complaint is that the game has no escape mechanism and the only method to tell of a foe was too easy/too hard/just right was to walk up to it and see if you die.
-
Near the end the backtracking was beginning to get old (hence I never found the dodge grandmaster in the forest) also the end has the best story elements (last 10 hours or so). If they add more dungeons and make significant fixes I might play again with a different party (probably wait till the second or third patch).

Agree about 6 through 8, particularly 7 and 8. Played a ton of them.

This seems cool, and I hope it does well, along with feedback that they should bring back the 6-8 style. After all, we don't truly have anything like it, it's not like we've got great large RPGs coming out our ears, and I like the M&M universe. Heroes II and III are a couple of the most fun games ever made, with a little nod to 5/6.

I must of put over 200 hours easily in M&M6 ,those were the days when you got more then your money's worth.

I hope there is a M&M11 ,hopefully with lockpicking skill and they get rid of the grid turn system.

Well there's Legend of Grimrock and a sequel that is coming this year IIRC. A bit on the lighter side though but still a first person RPG with puzzles.

MMX look really interesting but I really don't know if i'll take the plunge yet. But you guys seem to appreciate the game much so i'll taker a serious look at it.

Having played Legend of Grimrock I don't think it is a RPG at all. I think it is a cleverly disguised puzzle game. Your skills and stats mean almost nothing in the game. It is all about finding the hidden objects and moving through the puzzles. Even the monsters for the most part were puzzles. You didn't fight them so much as figure out a way through them.

So I don't think LoG is really comparable to MMX. Despite appearances the two are not really similar games.

I had no choice but to reload an earlier save ie about 3 hours of game time back,at least now I can play and be more careful of that nasty bug.
