the FUCK, I went to the ghetto ass wendy's just now after reading this.

They don't have it. I went to popeye's instead

If it doesn't have the ingredients you want, just add it.

What sucks is when they change something major, like the bun.
Their chicken sandwich buns were "pretzelized" a few years ago and are too thick and doughy.
I usually ask for my sandwich on a regular bun now a days.

I'm sorry... but I can never, EVER eat anything that is labeled "Dave's Hot 'n Juicy." Ever.

Well I just tried one. Honestly, its hard to tell a huge difference between the new and old. I get mine with no pickles no tomato, but I definitely noticed the lack of mustard. Didn't taste the mayo at all, never had issues with the old, the new is fine to me also. Also, the bun is suppose to be toasted, couldn't tell eating it. The combo, medium size was $7.31.

I am planning on trying one also, they open in about 20 minutes. It would suck if I got there and they didn't have them yet.

That's EXACTLY what happened. The manager didn't even know about it 😀

I had a double anyway, with a chili. I seldom eat junk food like that so it was a nice treat. Wendy's has some of the best chain burgers around.

Thats funny, I asked the person if they had the new burgers and she mentioned some other burger, a cheddar burger or something. I was like no, the new updated burger, she said yes, but it didn't seem like she really knew. The menu board looked like the one on the site, pretty sure it was the new one I had.

wtf people in the rest of the country have no clue what should be on burgers. moar pickles, moar onions, no mayo, ketchup belongs on fries, and extra mustard.

Disgusting.

No pickles, onions are fine, more mayo, no mustard, no ketchup.

I remember Wendy's from back in College (12 years ago). Do they still have those square patties? I always thought they got the packing efficiency angle covered with square patties and buns.

Nope, but that's the Wendy's burger I remember. I've had their current burger a couple times and they don't taste anywhere close to the same IMO, but they aren't that bad when compared to something like McD's.

I think Wendy's is one of the better fast food places. I'd place Wendy's and Jack in the Box a tier above places like McDonalds or Burger King. At least they make the food to order.

And the plastic gem "curtains." A little like hippie bead doors.

As a kid there were many times we'd go to the science museum (COSI) and then eat dinner across the street at the first Wendy's.

Yes the beads were great. Now if you want to see them you have to go to those crazy people that rip you off for "reading" your palm.

wendy's is the only place in town where i have to tell them no mayo and no ketchup, add mustard, so half the time i forget and get that disgusting crap all over my burger.

whataburger - don't have to tell them
mcdonalds - don't have to tell them
burger king - don't have to tell them
sonic - don't have to tell them

had their new "chicken dipped" sandwiches this past weekend.

that buffalo chicken sandwich is probably my favorite fast food sandwich i've ever had ... ssssssooooo good.
