Going to get the full service spa including the Sports Package, Steptronic Automatic Transmission, Paddle Shifters, Active Steering, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Comfort Access, Active Cruise Control, On-Board Navigation System, Power Rear Sunshade, Satellite Radio and Park Distance Control (rear).

And I must also thank my credit union for the awesome rate ;)

What happened to John Voight's LeBaron?

True, but I was told that the auto w/ tiptronic still shifts VERY nicely. That person, who would never buy an auto, recomended at least test driving an auto just to feel.

Don't get an automatic!!

The thread is 2 months old. I would assume the OP already ordered it. :)

With that money i'd have bought myself a 740iL for around 25K and a s2000 for about 25K and pocket the change. It is your money, the only thing that counts is that you're happy :) Now give us pics...stat!

I gotta chime in with the rest, 55K for a 3 series non M BMW is a serious prison pounding IMHO...while props to you for stretching your credit line to fund the deal (though I know guys unemployed driving 911s) I gotta say for what you're paying there are as others mentioned alot better options, and if it has to be BMW, for that kind of money why not go as NFS said and get the M series? Maybe it is my newfound resentment towards branding and overpricing, but personally I would feel robbed every time I took that out for a spin.

Good luck though.
