audi - been there, done that

previous gen S/RS 4 and 6 had bi-turbos (biturbo V6 for the S and RS4, V8 for the S/RS6, if i'm not mistaken)

Yeah but the 335 is still a lot quicker than lets say a 2002 S4.

what's its 0-60? a 2000 S4 was 5.5, 2004 S4 was 4.9 according to albeedigital.com

i would say the S4 is fair competition, especially the current model which is the 4.2 NA V8 (roughly same price, ~~$46k msrp)

for 55K a few months ago you could have gotten a well loaded 2006 M3 which is still quicker than the 335i and handles much better. and it's not monaco blue it's montego blue.

That is a lot of money for a car.

I would have gotten something else but if you have that kind of money, props to you

55k for a 3 series?

damn.....

It's like 20k over the base 330i (being replaced by the 335i).

Funk that, might as well just get the upcoming V8-powered M3

Sweet car. They called it "baby M3" at hte dealership. I don't believe there will be a 2007 M3 available.

Although the 335i is nice and the twin turbo is sexy as hell, there's no way I'd ever pay $50K+ for a 3 series.

True, but I was told that the auto w/ tiptronic still shifts VERY nicely. That person, who would never buy an auto, recomended at least test driving an auto just to feel.

He's either a Canadian. Or he just have so much money he doesn't give a crap.

For that money I would take a E46 M3 with competition package. Not feeling the Cayman design.

Same here, not feeling the Gayman. And his profile says Washington, DC.

why would anyone take the e46 M3? Its an outdated design and isnt even made anymore, also the regualr cayman is a lot slower than the 335i.
