Update!! My parents towed it to one of their mechanics and he is pretty sure it is the distributor. It is going to cost 400 dollars to replace. :|

Well, I just got my car back and it cost my parents 478 dollars for to replace it. My car seems a little faster for some reason, but I am also owe my parents 478 dollars now.

Yeah, as soon as those car mechanics get their hands on your car, prepare to pay. My Toyota Camry driver-side automatic window failed, and the cost was $300 to fix. I still haven't had the money to replace the cracked front-shield glass.

You think just a distributor itself is inexpensive? Let alone the labor cost would involved. By the way, it's definitely not hard to replace a distributor on the Altima.

Bought a distributor for my Bronco from Autozone for less than $50. Put it in myself in 20 minutes.
