Damn! You're saving $200?!? Just by switching to another brand? Damn, and Marlboros are cheap compared to what I used to smoke. Kent Golden Lights...cost me over $4/pack before I quit. I think Marlboros were only $2+. I quit all together and I'm only saving about $80 a month. What a rip. I might as well start back up...I thought I was saving a lot of dough.

Only if staying with national brands. I switched to Native, and the transition to Niagra's was smooth and painless. I've looked at the overseas sites and, frankly, even if they were the same price as the Niagra's, I don't want to wait the two weeks to a month it takes to get the product. With cigarettessentdirect, it takes four days to get here.

i quit smoking 5 months ago because everyone i know that smokes is lazy as hell. no exercise at all. But yesturday I had a smoke because i was so streesed out it cleared my mind though. I really hate them otherwise. They smell, they cost money, and they mess up your body.

The majority of smokers do not die from smoking. Plain and simple, its a farce. Yes they may cause cancer, but know what, so does everything else. People just need to let smokers be, most aren't going to get cancer from smoking, most don't throw their butts on the ground, etc etc. Just like everything else if you do to much of it, its going to cause problems.

I heard on the radio the other day that the Canadian government via Canada Post is starting up a mail order liquor and beer delivery service.
As for you Russ, I may soon be in the same boat. I've smoked the same brand for 8 years, and the provincial government is considering a
$15.00 increase in the tax on a carton of cigs. That would raise the price to over $50.00 a carton here. If thats the case, theres a reserve about a 35 minute drive from my house. 😀
Oh and for the record, my great grandmother smoked two packs a day for 80 years, and dipped for over 50, she died at the age of 93, she never had cancer and she died of a massive stroke. She was never bed ridden, till she had that stroke, and then three or four days later she passed away.

There are about 80million obese people in the US, ALL will have major medical problems, the majority of smokers do not get major medical problems.
Which is worse? Junk food, or smoking. That would be junk food... Its a far bigger drain than smoking, its also far deadlier. There are far more lard asses that eat junk food that have major medical problems than there are smokers dieing and with major medical problems.
