One more moron heard from. People who know me know that I'm far from an American car fanboy (more of a German and Sweedish fanboy), but to call a 'Vette a "piece of crap" shows only that you are highly un-educated.

Eh, I guess the vette is ok if all you want to do is go very fast in a straight line, don't expect it to be reliable, and have a lot of money to burn. While it is certainly fast it is not nearly as tossable as the Z or an M3 and so, in my opinion, not nearly as fun. You will look better driving in it though if that is all you care about but that doesn't make it a better car in my book. I'm always thinking more practically than that. I just see every GM car as crap. I was not discriminating against the vette specifically. I just have yet to see, hear of, or drive an american car that is well built and reliable. But I guess for a vette that is "either red or black" that is not very important.
