I feel like Tyler Durden in Fight Club:
Tyler: "...he was setting up franchises. My father never went to college, so it was really important that I go...After I graduated, I called him long distance and asked, "Now what?" He said, "Get a job." When I turned twenty-five, I called him and asked, "Now what?" He said, "I don't know. Get married."
It's like my whole previous 22 years of my life have gone by in a flash. I've busted my ass to graduate from college and landed a temporary job with a great company, yet I feel no feeling of satisfaction and don't really feel like I've accomplished anything. Like Tyler, I just did all those things because thats what society (and by society, I mean my father and parents in general) wanted me to do. I'm a blind man being lead to do different things because that's what I'm expected to do. Am I the only person who feels this way/has felt this way when he graduated from college?
