I LIKE IT! :thumbsup: Just saw the first episode and I think I can continue with the series. Can't believe this has been out almost 5 years and I'm just now getting to it. Off to S1: E2.

We had a terrible snowstorm here almost 2 years ago and I had the first disc of Season One from Netflix (it was not streaming at the time). I ended up blowing through it, then Torrenting the rest of seasons 1-2 and watching them in a long weekend. I have watched every episode since, of course.

Breaking Bad is unique in terms of its dramatic arc, and to me it makes it kind of like a snowball rolling down a hill - it builds and builds over the course of the show. I really envy someone who can start now with S1E1 and go through them from there for the first time.

No shit! My SO and I have never watched an entire series as quickly as we did Breaking Bad. From s01e01 to s05e08 (54 episodes) in just over 3 weeks, with the last 8 episodes in two days! We even paced ourselves a lot! 😳
 
Yea I just watched the whole series over the past month or so. Hadn't even heard of it, that's how much tv I watch.

Did the same thing with Walking Dead seasons 1&2. And now I'm stuck waiting a week in between episodes. Hate that.
 
I just heard of the show about 2 months ago. I downloaded the 1st season, loved it. Downloaded the rest of the seasons plus the first half of season 5 and watched them all in a few weeks.

They should have ended the series at the end of season 4, it was the perfect ending. This last season seems like a money grab.

HAHA Thats what happened to me. I decided it was so good that I could be on the exercise bike and not realize I'm working out. I thought I'll do an episode a day.... but then I went crazy and watched them all in record time.
 
My wife and I just watched the first episode a few weeks ago... (we don't have cable, just Netflix.) and I'll give it a 5 out of 10. I'm willing to give it another few episodes... given the pilot, I don't really see the plot going that far, but obviously they took it somewhere.

Last time I went all-in on a series, it was The Unit and 24... with the understanding that they had some sucky seasons, too.
 
Good on you. You're gonna love it, its an addicting show. Wish I had more to watch.. Dexter and Walking Dead are just not as good, I don't care what anyone says.
 
If you liked the first episode, it only gets better. I had to convince my wife to give it another chance after the first epi underwhelmed her, and she was soon hooked.

i thought the first one was well done. only watched two episodes last night. so far so good.
 
I don't know. I watched the first 7 or so episodes, and I didn't like it much.

I'm not sure if I feel like continuing. Was just sorta boring.
