well, I finally got around to watching Breaking Bad and...

just started season two. the transformation of walt's character is amazing. and yeah, that tooko dude is crazy lol

I think it can be persuasively argued that Walt is the real psycho who complicates the living shit out of things.
 
That show is awesome! One of my coworkers insisted that I watch it and I wasn't too impressed by the first show, but it picked up pretty well after that.

Another similar show is "Weeds", once you get through breaking bad you can give that a try.

My FIL watches Weeds... I watched one episode when I was out visiting over the summer and I about clawed my eyes out, it was that boring. He said it wasn't a very good episode. I agreed... 🙄
 
My favorite show on tv. No other show comes even close. The writing is just excellent.

Man I can't wait till it's back next summer.
 
just finished season 2. i watched 5 episodes today. holy frack i have no life. but this show is amazing. i have not been absorbed like this before. hasn't been boring yet. this is what great writing and acting is all about. i can relate with Walt on so many levels. S3 here i come :thumbsup:

I tried to watch it. It's not bad or anything, but I got bored and stopped. I don't feel compelled to watch another episode. Most shows I can't put down and end up watching 5 episodes back to back.

Thats the only way I like watching tv series. when you can watch 4 or 5 eps at a time. Breaking Bad hooked me the same way. It's one of the best tv shows ever.
 
I'm always on the lookout for some good Netflix streaming but drugs is not interesting to me. That's what it sounds like from the overview.

I feel the same about drugs, but I loved this show. It's about a guy facing death and trying to provide for his family. Lots of internal struggle and shows the horrors of drug use.

I have a real hard time when actors jump genre like this. I've never watched Breaking Bad (we don't have cable) but can admit I'll have a real hard time seeing Malcolm's dad playing any role other than a buffoon.

Bryan Cranston plays his role perfectly in Breaking Bad. If you didn't know they were the same actors, you'd actually think it's different people playing the roles in Malcom in the middle and Breaking Bad.

Don't worry, he's still quite the buffoon. It's just not done for laughs this time. He fucks up quite a bit.

I'll have to check it out. I believe what people say about Bryan Cranston, but I guess I'll have to experience it for myself! I'll wait for winter so I have an excuse to hibernate in the Man Cave for 6 hours at a stretch.

I love Malcolm in the Middle myself, so I was a fan of Bryan Cranston before Breaking Bad. In fact, if not for Cranston I probably wouldn't have given BB a chance, and this role solidified Cranston as one of the best actors on TV.
 
watched 3 more episodes, finished Season 3 and watched first episode of Season 4. Loved every bit of it so far. Only one episode in S3 seemed boring, the one with the fly. hope S4 is just as good.
