Durons from 1Ghz upwards use the Morgan core which is based on the Athlon XP ,clock for clock the Duron Morgans are faster than the Athlon Thunderbirds in SETI.
His Duron WU times are about right ,but your Athlon times are a touch slow ,I only say that because my fathers Athlon 1.4Ghz does most WU's in 5hrs ,his PC does have CAS2 RAM though.
