I can vouch for RICKR's "Forrest Bump" He was my doctor until he quit practicing about two years ago. He didn't have a good sense of humor about it though, he claimed the movie ruined his life. And people kept stealing his parking space sign...

Also there's a person who graduated from my high school who was named "cookie crum" Her parents must have hated her.

Especially funny when pulled on the one who announces those who are "called to the office"

My old middle school gym teachers name was John Jay Johnstonbaugh.

During my undergrad, there was a guy in one of my classes named Richard (Dick) Hertz. The only reason I remember is that one day the teacher was checking the sign-in role sheet and stopped and asked "Who's Dick Hertz?", half the guys raised their hands, and the other half of us nearly fell on the floor laughing.

My mother used to play bridege with Ima Booger.

My mother had fraternal twins in her class.
A boy and a girl.
She was intrigued by the names so she asked the mother
where she came up with such unusual names.
The mother replied that she did not name them, the hospital had already done that.
Confused?

Their names were Male and Female
(pronounced Male-a and Fe-male-a)
sorry if my phonetic spelling is off but I think you get the idea.

By buddy was almost named Allen Steven Sloope, but his parents realized his initials would be ASS and decided to switch Allen and Steven around. And I don't have it with me, but a Polish friend of mine has one helluva last name. Not too funny, but odd. I'll post it when I get home.

There's a guy here in DC that does traffic on the radio. I think he tries to go by Rich Hunter. Of course, not many let him get away with just that.

I knew I had one! :)

My wife has heard a lot from Central America where she is from.
My favorites are Usnavy (pronounced oos-nah-vy), and twins named Orangejello and Lemonjello (pronounced Oh-ron-jelo and leh-mon-jelo)!

I was just in the car, listening to the radio...

There is an announcer on one of the easy listening type stations, and his name is

Dick Ring

Somehow, something doesn't sound right about that. jonnyGURU, yakko, do you know who I mean?

There is also a proctologist on Armenia Blvd. and the sign says "Dr Richard Cockburn". I guess his career was meant to be.

:eek::confused:
