As I move forward I have been eating more and more. Breakfast is a hard thing for me, if I miss it, it sets me up for not eating all day. Its kinda strange, if I don't eat, I'm not hungry. If I eat, I eat more and more. I do get 3 good meals in a day and usually 3 gainer drinks.

Normal calorie intake (on days I eat breakfast) is 3800-4200/day. I've got supp's with Creatine and extra BCAAs and am hitting ZMA at night. I think the key for now is to keep it up and let time take its course.

I expect this year to be a big one. Starting the barbell routine in April means I've only got a bit over 3 months in on that type of training. I'm really in the early stages and should see good gains this next year.

Deadlift 385 lbs

= 905 lbs
It's just easier to tell when you're cheating on the range of motion because there's no question about whether the bar touched your chest or not. ;)

Trust me, I've already thought of that. :p

Before I broke my ankle I was deadlifting 375lbs 5 sets of 5 (actually that's what I did the day I broke my ankle).

Since then I have never gotten back up that high and recently I've had lower back problems so I haven't done deadlifts or squats.

Here's my current stats:

Deadlift - 345lbs
Bench - 245lbs
Squat - 275lbs
--------------------
Total - 865

I haven't lifted since before I went on vacation the 18th of July because I am letting my back heal completely and I am going back today. I'm starting my bulking phase again and my goal this winter for bench is to be able to rep 275lbs 3-5 times, deadlift 400lbs (if my back doesn't start hurting before I can get close), and squat 315lbs.

I thought about mentioning it when you posted about your 100lb dumbbell PR, but I didn't want to rain on your parade. A good rule of thumb is that you're good for about 80% of your barbell rep weight when you switch over to dumbbells (assuming full ROM on both exercises).

Heh, well I always read for dumbbells to just go to 90 degrees at the elbows. Raining on the parade is fine. I'd rather be doing things correctly. Hell, I've been adding the wrong weight for the curl bar for the last 6 months :p

Don't have a power rack with stops? Or are you talking about hurting something else?

Oh, and DainBramaged, my calorie intake is hovering just above 5000 at the moment. Its actually a concious effort that I have to make to keep gaining weight. Although I'm only a pound short of my short term goal of 225. Next up, 250!

Probably my last update for a while, unless I break past my bench sticking point. I'm moving away from aiming at maxing out for at least a few months.

Deadlift - 405
Bench - 205
Squat - 325

Total - 935

I'm one of those previously-mentioned-in-another-thread skinny Chinese guys...5'11", currently 158lb. My maxes aren't that great, but I'm pleased with how I look and feel.

Deadlift - 225
Bench - 175
Squat - 225

My legs are still the weakest link, aside from my traps. Mostly my hamstrings and calves, since my quads are relatively strong. Hoping to lose about 5 pounds by the start of the auto show season.

250 on each (+ 15 lb. bar). I lift at home and it's about the most I can fit on my bar without getting into the 5s. I'd get more big weights but my bar is rated at 200 heh... at some point I'll get a new bar and more weight, but it's enough for now since I'm still trying to get back to where I was after being lazy for a while.

Just curious what your setup is for squats at home? Btw, your bar counts as well.

Is this like most ever or currently lifting?

Last time while bulking (trying anyway, a bit of a failed experiment):

Bench: 110x2 (Dumbells) x 4
Squat: 365 x 4
Deadlift: 405 x 1 (no straps, just chalk)

Currently, I've been doing a bit of a cutting diet since I got a little too happy with my unclean bulking and gained a nice gut.

Bench: 90x2 (Dumbells) x 6
Squat: 315 x 6, however I've been doing 285 lately Ass-To-Floor...I love em.
Deadlift: 315x6

5'10" currently 175 lbs. Would love to hit 170 before I re-bulk, and do it the RIGHT way. :D

im 5'11 225 lbs been out of high school for 3 years and i was very active in sports including power lifting...my maxes were 605 dead lift, 585 squat, and 390 bench...these were my best totals at an event, and those who you have been know it is very strict and very hard to receive a "good" lift..i use to be big into nutrition and fitness but have slacked off a little...im getting back into it now and my strength is coming back pretty quick

I have an Impex bench with raked-back uprights that serve double duty as a squat rack, something like this but with rear-facing supports and without the overhead contraption and its bracing.

5'6" 155lbs

Bench: 245
Deadlift: 405
Squat: 365

This was about two years ago, currently I'm probably a little lower on the maxes because my focus is a bit different now. I do a wider range of exercises and a lot of cardio/sprints.
