OK, we are all eating at home a whole lot more than we were a month ago, if not 100% of meals are prepared at home. No more 32 oz drinks, supersize the fries, etc, and probably a lot less junk food. There is even thread about how eating at home has impacted the amount of thrash they throw out every week. Personally we ate out 2 - 3 times a week, often food trucks at breweries, or nearby pizza or similar.
As we are older, and both have underlying health issues, we actually stopped going out about 4 weeks ago, before breweries and restaurants were ordered closed by the governor.
My weight has been steady for years, not that it wouldn't be bad if I shed a few pounds (maybe 20ish) but never had the incentive, as I like my beer and food. So now we are at home, I am still drinking my beer, maybe even more since I'm not having to drive home, and we are eating good. I hadn't weighed myself in perhaps 2 months, but when I stepped on the scales this morning I was a bit surprised to see I have lost 8 - 9 pounds.
Conclusion: It's not the beer, but the type of food.
What has isolation done for your weight?
