Yes, once I hit about 25 I was done with getting as big as possible and working on the best aesthetic look, (a la Jersey Shore). So I'm not too worried about running before lifting. Now that I've gotten older I do run/lift to stay strong and to stay fit. I also do more very "sport specific" exercises and fitness (crossfit) as well. I do things for a specific purpose or performance minded.
