Weight fluctuation. W/ Update!

I can easily understand someone's weight fluctuating by 15 pounds over the course of multiple days. But it seems your claim is that you lose significant amount of weight during the night?

If that's the case, then only 1 of 3 things are possible:
1. Your bathroom scale or you are wrong
2. You pee the bed at night. Nearly 2 gallons worth if you lose 15 pounds overnight
3. Aliens abduct you at night & flush your colon when doing their anal probe.

It's entirely possible guys.

I have a friend that weighs 140 on a good day, 130 if he's broke. He stands @ 5'11 and till this day him and I both cannot figure out how to get him to gain weight without loosing it within the same week he gains it.

Back in highschool he'd continually challenge me to eat an entire large pizza with him, of which I didn't ever finish because I hate cheeze.

He'd kill an entire large pizza, then suck down another half a large or more that I had left over. That in itself put 5 pounds on him the very same day, like clockwork.

His father's visitation rights forced him to eat dinner with his dad both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday was our usual pizza day (football) and he usually had to go home and eat dinner with his dad after eating pizza with me.

I can attest to seeing him gain 10 pounds in one day. He claimes he got up to 145 one thanksgiving, unfortuneately, he was i'll the entire nite.

MoPho, what's your diet like? Are you eating like 3000 carbs a day or something???

You need to ask this question on a body building form where I'm sure you can find other's who can attest. In all honesty, if you're really fluctuating like this though, you need to get your health in order.

I run 2 miles a day and use an ergometer for an additional mile. Usually cereal for breakfast, sandwich/sub for lunch and then a heavy veggie loaded dinner. I've been cutting down on chicken, beef and pork over the past couple weeks but i've been doing it gradually, not all out.

Running 3 miles will only burn around 400 calories if you're lucky. A 5lb dailry fluctuation maybe, not 15.

Even 5lbs is insanity... That's like 17,000 calories.
You would have to run like 140 miles to burn 5 pounds... LOL.
