Yeah, I see that in the replay. The fact that they called it grounding though, and not downed on the tackle, doesn't make it not a bad call- just the end result turned out ok.

true, but thats the best possible outcome of a bad call...that something else validated the call. doesn't make the bad call ok, but atleast it doesn't mess up the game.

true, but thats the best possible outcome of a bad call...that something else validated the call. doesn't make the bad call ok, but atleast it doesn't mess up the game.

Yes, I'm glad it wasn't a game changing bad call like week, because this wasn't reviewable either. I don't like the non-reviewable nature of those calls and that the refs gathered and got it wrong is no good.
