It can be as simple as fewer letters to type. But, lol, in the Phillies thread I call Ryan Howard the Big Dog and I am the only person I've ever heard call him that. Please don't be upset. That would make me sad.

Yeah, I'm not from PA. I'm not even an Eagles fan but I've always called him DMac. I just made it up. Usually it goes, " hahha DMac threw that interception to Landry!" or "Fletcher just sacked DMac!" or "DMac is injured a-gain! Eagles are done!"
