dang. I'm thankful for an amazing metabolism. I'm 6' 4" 185lbs. But my step brother was around your weight and height, and a year later from eating differently and riding his bike to work instead of driving he's down to like 200 Lbs.

59 lbs thats amazing. I recently lost 20lbs (180 > 160) and it took me 4 months to do it (and I was feeling smug about it until I saw ur thread). That must be some diet u are eating. Just curious what happens when u go off the diet. I have heard that people who go on diets usually suffer from digestion problems when they get back on regular food. I had a friend who had similar trouble after he lost weight while on a diet, though later on his stomach got acusstomed but the first few weeks when he was off the diet he was getting all his excersise from running to the loo :D

Yeah well... :D

This is really an alternative to Gastric Bypass, I really didn't want to do that...

my wife is ready to try the bypass surgery, but a friend of ours died from it and we have young kids, so i don't really see that as an option

my mom had bypass surgery when it was very new. She came through with flying colors. And though she still has some problems with eating things and always will she says she'd do it all over again. She was on the verge of 500lbs.. now weighs 150-160. Her surgery was about 6 years ago.

Keep up the great work OP.. I'm rooting for you!

Bleh, I need to lost about 60 pounds to be healthy.

Kick ass that you've lost all the weight so far.
But as I'm sure someone else has mentioned, make sure to make small adjustements when going off the diet when you're done so your body doesn't freak out.
You could easily gain back all the weight and more if you just go right back to your old eating habits.

Hell, I did that last year.
I started at around 250, lost 20 pounds, then started eating fast food more regularly again(but not as much as before), and I've since gotten back to 240.
And I'm about 6', 6'1.
