Woah, you people need to step back and look at what happened here. Because of the overdoses of weed in their system, two people (so far) are no longer with us.

I think its time to start clamping down on this before it gets out of hand.

:\

Have you ever even tried marijuana?, it's not LSD, I used to use it way back in the day (employer drug-testing stopped all that) but I never felt compelled to think I could fly like superman and jump out a 4th story window, dollars for donuts this dude had other issues going on besides eating pot-laced brownies..

Why can't they just have legalized normal, smokeable weed? We don't need to legalize weed juice concentrate...

I make my own weed juice concentrate. But in order to make it I have to use a butane extraction method which isn't really the safest thing to do. If it can be done in a regulated safe environment by professionals. Not only is it safer and cleaner, but it's higher quality as well...

If you go buy a pot brownie, who knows what the fuck is in there. They may have just bought some chinese THC chemical copy extract (like the same shit in K2) and then put it in the brownie, calling it a "pot brownie"

Except, not really. Colorado, for example, has regulated the everloving SHIT out of the pot industry here. The whole seed-to-sale tracking deal is pretty impressive. There is essentially zero chance that your pot brownies are going to be laced with garbage at a proper retail or medicinal establishment.

CA + CO + WA are just killing it right now.

tolerance++

Well we just signed a new piece of legislation for medical and we are now allowed to open up dispensaries starting in june. So hopefully we can see some of that 90%+ goodness you fuckers have.

yeah but you'll need a few years for the growers to learn the tricks of the trade and everything to get "up to par", unless you take the exports from CA/CO/WA.

CA's been at it for a years now so they've had a lot of time to learn and grow (pun intended).

The average top tier BHO quality of today in CA is about the same as the best of the top tier stuff a few years ago. It's fucking incredible.

I can buy Everclear, drink it straight, and descend into oblivion anytime I want, so... what's the objection to weed... um... juice?

No objection here.

I'd rather eat/drink teh reefer than drink alcohol, actually. No hangover to speak of.

im not going to get into my stance on legalizing or anything, mainly because it is a waste of time to argue either side. but, historically, when people got into accidents or were hurt, the cops would ask if they were on any drugs. when pot is illegal, i cant see anyone saying yes, which contributes to the lack of correlation between any kind of pot related accidents/ deaths. now that it is legalized in a few places, we should expect to hear more truthful reasons for some of these things happening. it is a proven fact that thc is a mind and mood altering substance, and while it is hardly hallucinogenic, it does lower your reaction times and judgement.

i do think these two cases were caused by the crazy in those people, regardless of whether it was amplified by being stoned or not. they could have easily been drunk when they snapped.

It is perplexing and ultimately maddening that otherwise sane, normal people randomly feel imbued with the right to tell other adults what they can put in their bodies. I wish people like that would all just fuck off and stick to obsessing over their own little meat temple.

No, we here in MD got that one back last fall. We legalized medical, but the only place to buy the weed was at hospitals or other already established medical facilities. Not a single hospital or medical facility in the state wanted to participate making it essentially impossible for patients to legally get the marijuana. This time around we are actually allowing the setting up of real dispensaries and getting larger cultivators involved to assure a steady supply.

Obviously the anti-pot reptilian overlords are killing people and making it look like tragic overdoses. We need to get the resident conspiracy expert in here for comment. Is it still too busy gazing longingly at pictures of militia members in Nevada?

LOL at all the pot heads up-in-arms over the fact that weed overdosing is deadly.

We need to pass stronger laws against pot and potheads nationwide.

Nonsense. Our reptilian overlords want us all potted up on weed so we're easier to control. The CIA puts mind control drugs in it; that's why I don't touch the stuff.

Care for a drink?

If I was a mod, I'd seriously think about giving you a vacation. You might as well be starting threads suggesting 2+2=5. It's a waste of space and is clearly trolling.
