Woah, you people need to step back and look at what happened here. Because of the overdoses of weed in their system, two people (so far) are no longer with us.

I think its time to start clamping down on this before it gets out of hand.

:\

While dying can be tragic life is dangerous. Why you could die walking down the stairs. Or driving to work. Think of all the children who would still be alive if pools were illegal! That's already out of hand. Pools are everywhere

This just reinforces my feelings about the tyranny of water. Srsly this shit is addictive as hell, it makes you crave it like every couple of hours.

The only cure is total abstinence.

Have you ever had to detox from a water high? Shit is intense feels like you're literally dying of thirst...

mnewsham, have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?

None of these people would have died if they were already dead. Ever think of that?

Sometimes we have to let people live, and be okay with it when they die.

Overdoses are only extremely rarely a single drug pheonomenon. Even heroin.

Philip Seymour Hoffman didn't die of a heroin overdose. He died of an overdose of something like 10 different drugs.

One of these people had done prescription drugs, too.

But really, edibles are the most dangerous form of weed, since there is such a long time difference between eating and feeling the effects. You can eat way too much more easily than smoking/vaping. I'd be ok with a retail edibles ban,. Don't go after people who make them themselves, but don't allow dispensaries to sell them.

The problem is edibles are the way most people who are against smoking will want to consume. Many first timers heading to colorado to try pot will prefer edibles if they aren't cigarette smokers or pot smokers already. Not smoking is a plus for many people.

Vaporizing is better than both. It has all the benefits of smoking and none of the problems.

If we didn't have alcohol a lot of people who are dead might not be.
If we didn't have transfat a lot of people who are dead might not be.
If we didn't have religion a lot of people who are dead might not be.
If we didn't have acetaminophen a lot of people who are dead might not be.
If we didn't have 500 hp cars a lot of people who are dead might not be.
If we didn't have swimming pools a lot of people who are dead might not be.

This list can go on forever. No reason marijuana should be illegal when on the whole it is probably safer than many of the legal things we have that can easily harm someone or others.

Man ODs on sidewalk. Autopsy showed he had well beyond the recommended dose of sidewalk in his brain at the time of death.

congrats, but fuck banning edibles, that's just retarded. Give sterner warnings, yeah edibles are imprecise if you don't know what you're doing, but you shouldn't ban them just because some people don't know what the fuck they are doing. and worst case, you get super high and pass out.

Getting stoned is technical man. Precision matters.

If they ban edibles before banning vapor alcohol (served at bars or w/e) I'd be really amazed. Considering vaping alcohol or doing it up the butt is very dangerous.

Never seen or heard of this. This is a thing at bars in the United States of America?

With edibles, it is. Too much and you're completely out of control. With smoking/vaping, the effects are close to immediate, so you can easily stop before you get TOO high.

The problem is when you get noobs who've never even smoked weed having access to really potent edibles, like this African exchange student. An experienced weed user would have waited before eating more, and even then would have probably just ridden out high.

Panic attacks on weed are a real thing, mang. Give a noob WAY too much edibles and you can have a big problem.

Nobody killed themselves while on weed before the ban was lifted?
