Wedding rings: how much was yours? How much was your wifes?

hmmm?

Also, did anyone get a custom ring done?

We got a good quote on custom wedding ring that would fit the engagement ring I had previously bought her, just wanted to put a feeler out to see if we're in the right ballpark.

Know many people for whom it was <$50 each. If they got something, it was something like a titanium ring.

Think wife's was like $300 for the engagement and wedding ring. Mine was around $50. Yea we went super cheap all around for the wedding, wanted a nice house more.

$375 each. White gold bands with engravings. Her engagement ring was a meld of my grandmothers wedding ring and her mother's wedding ring, I think we paid $250 for the adjustments and welding.

I shelled out more for the wedding rehearsal dinner; $1500

$500 combined. I think mine was $275 and hers $225. That included the engagement ring. 😀

"I don't want a big stone or a gaudy ring," said my wife.

KEEPER!!!!!!!!

No more than a biweekly salary.

And because of Leonardo Dicaprio's stunning performance in Blood Diamond I refuse to buy any thing with a diamond in it, therefore keeping my budget low.

My wedding ring was $216. White gold comfort-fit band.

My wife has a $1200 diamond accent band that matches her engagement ring....also in white gold. I also bought her a second wedding band that was simply white gold...also comfort-fit, but far smaller than my band. I purchased it after we got married. I think I paid $150 for it.

She works in healthcare and doesn't wear her good rings at work because of how often she has to put on gloves and wash her hands when seeing patients. She really wanted that band when she was pregnant with our first child...some of her patients were giving her 'the look' because they didn't think she was hitched. 😀

I'm going to spend $20 or so on a tungsten ring, but I have recently spent ~$700 on a watch collection that goes with it.

About $300 for mine (tungsten carbide). Don't know how much the wife's was since it was wrapped up in the total price of the engagement ring.

You're ordering a custom wedding band that wraps around the engagement? is it a halo setting ?

Yes, emerald cut + halo. The custom price was ~15% more than the standard mass retailer price for a similar ring.

Mine was under $100 ($40 maybe? Don't remember.) for a plain titanium ring.

My wife's was a $5k custom designed ring. The $5k didn't include the diamonds, which were from family jewelry.

I proposed with a Funyun, so the engagement ring was under a dollar. Splurged a bit on the wedding ring.

Mine was $200 or so white gold, I wish I got a $50 one since I almost never wear it except for special occasions like weddings. Wife's was an engagement/wedding combo that was $2000 or so, $1500 of that for engagement.

Mine was $850. Its a 18k white gold 7mm flat band with comfort fit. Hers was $1250 but it has pave diamonds. The engagement ring was around $2750.

My wife's rings were about $3200 total with a diamond and several smaller diamond chips between them. My ring was about $450, but this was all back in 1991.

My wife's engagement ring was $3500 (about $3200 was the diamond and $300 was the custom setting.) Her wedding ring was a guard with more diamonds that was like $600.

My wedding ring is tungston carbide, laser etched with a celtic pattern...it was like $400.

My ring was $750.00 White gold. I spent a total of 7K on my wife's rings including diamond. Hers was white gold and the diamond was just under a Carat.
