mine is similar to this. I like it.

Just a plain white gold band would be nice too. I think the filigree is a bit much....a little too "tribal armband tattoo" for my tastes.

Just a white gold band.

WIN! :) That's what hubby and I opted for.

Although some b*tch at work asked me where my bling was once. This was after she flung her hand out to show me her rock. I told her my brand new town home was all the bling I needed and that I hope she enjoyed her apartment living. :)

Wow, really? Nobody's ever been smartass with me about my plain gold band. I've had a few ask if I have a diamond and I always say that my husband is my gem. :)

I think something like this is nice for a man's ring:

My dad had the coolest men's ring I've ever seen. Gold with a wave pattern like this:

Except that, instead of being cut into the metal it was done by setting the tiny chips (leftover from stone recutting) from his grandmother's ring into his ring. It was flat, nothing to catch, and it was really damn cool. Unfortunately it came off his finger once while boating and got lost. :(

I technically just have a straight titanium ring. No engraving or edging at all. Just a very slight bevel around it.

That being said, I never ever wear it. What's the point?

I always like the rings that incorporate something else.

I got a titanium one with a gold inlay running down the middle. Lighter and still has a little bit of gold "tradition" in it.

I just have a plain palladium ring - better than white gold, but cheaper than platinum. I did not care for most of the men's bands, too many of them reminded me of those tribal tattoos that were really popular a few years back. I wanted something a bit more classic.

I have almost the exact same ring.

Palladium scratches very easily.
Mine started out looking like the picture and now it is 100% covered in scratches and appears dull grey.

I don't mind and actually like it better that way, but it someone is looking for it to stay glossy forever, do not get palladium.

e-weddingbands.com has awesome deals, BTW.
