Web Site Wants Michael Moore's Oscar Revoked

I honestly don't give a flying f*** about his Oscar.

I normally don't care about awards, but that REALLY upset me that he won one for that terrible work of fiction. It should definatly be taken away from him.
 
Yeah, right . . . Typical "fair and balanced" coverage from our friends at Fox. It is ludicrous to state that Moore "might lose" his Oscar because a bunch of boneheads have enough spare time to sign an online petition. I am no fan of Michael Moore, and was offended by his speech, but presumably the left-leaning members of the academy knew perfectly well who they were voting for in the first place.
 
He won an oscar in a category in which he hadn't submitted a valid entry. Still, who gives a rats ass except the guy that actually made an oscar caliber documentary last year...
 
Oscars are a joke anyway. Yay, let's get the rich people together that don't really work and then pat each other on the back for it.

Yeah, the award was for a "Factual Documentary" ....not fictitious crap. It really should be taken away. With as many incorrect things that were in his documentary, I can't believe it was even in the running.
 
Who cares? People really should find more important things to do with their time. With the many threads on ATOT about Michael Moore, I still have not taken time to learn who this guy is.

i also believe Chicago should not of won an oscar being based on a broadway show. Maybe ill start an idiotic site asking for the oscar to be revoked.

Well if you could muster all your evidence that Chicago does not in fact meet the most fundamental criteria to be considered a "broadway show" as it has been proven that Bowling For Columbine does not meet the most fundamental criteria to be legitimately considered a "documentary", then go for it.

Personally, I don't think you have a case. Chicago is a broadway show. Bowling for Columbine, however, is no more of a documentary than "Spinal Tap".

I don't care that much about the speach he gave at the Oscar's. I know he is a dumba$$. He sounds like a dumba$$. I would expect people to know that he is a dumba$$. What bothers me is that he won the award on such a ficticious documentary.

I agree with this, I feel bad for the directors who made "real" documentaries and were either not considered or did not win because of Moore's creation, the award should go to an authentic piece of work, not something that is fabricated...almost ironic that he harps on Bush for winning a false election when his false movie won an Oscar
