I'll just ask you one question. If making a movie doesn't involve work and these people make millions doing it, why aren't you doing it? Or why isn't everyone for that matter?
 
OMG! an online petition! i bet moore is REALLY scared! wow, if they really got their act together, they could even email it to him and that would really just totally scare him and make him give it back! or they could email it to the academy and they could take it back! i'm sure it would really work because people give TONS of credit to internet petitions.

Of course all this controversy does is make Michael Moore even that much more popular.... "No publicity is bad publicity."
 
I feel bad for the directors who made "real" documentaries and were either not considered or did not win because of Moore's creation

Dear members of the Academy:

Do not let the promoters of this site try to punish anyone who exercises the first amendment in this country, regardless of who agrees with Michael Moores opinions.

I hope you will stand by the freedom of speech, and not try to send a message of censorship to all the aspiring and existing filmakers in America.

I love how this movie is discounted by some when 99.5% of it is factual. There is a cut and pasted Charlton Heston speech, a missle factory that doesn't make nukes when Moore says it does and a few other minor errors (none of which are critical for Moore's message) but the rest of it is true. People are afraid of the message of the film and therefore do everything they can to slime and slander Moore and Bowling.
