And the person who joined him in THAT vote, to cost THOSE lives, lost the election. You are forgetting over 5000 of our soldiers didn't survive Bush Jr.
No one including Obama or Hillary wanted justice and accountability. The Party Faithful wouldn't have it any other way. Their deaths and the deaths of others will forever be swept under the rug, but few have any moral right to point a finger if they didn't hold Obama's admin and the Dem Congress to task for not delivering justice and not even trying. It might have cost political hay and lives aren't worth it.You are forgetting over 5000 of our soldiers didn't survive Bush Jr.
This is how people in failed states talk. "We survived (crap our parents unnecessarily inflicted on our country), so we'll survive (crap we are unnecessarily inflicting on our country)."
There is a bit of a survival bias going on, since the ones who din't survive it aren't there to opine on the subject.
With Harry Reid gone you might just be surprised how many "crazy ideas" the Dem's are willing to support. Congress has created for themselves an exquisitely feathered golden goose. I'm hopeful they're not dumb enough to kill it.Repubs don't have a super majority in the Senate.
Now we get to filibuster Trumps crazy ideas like the the Repubs filibustered Obama's.
You got what you wanted, a GOP Congress with Trump president. No excuse to blame the Democrats for what happens starting in January. Now it's for you to "Make America Great Again" and for me to point and laugh when you fail.So does this mean you are going the Chicken Little route and be part of the problem instead of realizing your own party's responsibility? Will you effect change or sit smugly and say "I didn't vote for him" and laugh?
Be a part of the problem or take ownership and call for sensible political reform on your side as well as the Republicans, or not.

Another Russian propagandist? Is is like Putin Day here on AT?There's a mass hysteria in USA lately... You always look for someone to blame! https://brutalist.press/posts/731/p...e?cab741=e94b261e-bf5b-4443-b1bd-10ac72a5045f I'm Austrian and really want to know - is it what America really scared of? Or is it just some disinformation? Enlighten me, please!
If you're talking 2020...
Dear Democrats... find a young Bernie Sanders. You just saw how desperate America is.
So you decide to blame everyone else. I'm not surprised. In your failure to take into account the thoughts and feelings of others, you elected Trump. I voted for Bernie whom you pissed on, crushing the only hope for reform, then did the same on your opposition.
Rejoice. You have reaped your reward.
I'll put you down for the "same old" that got us into this mess.

It is ironic that the religious right helped elect the closest thing to an openly atheist president we've seen in two centuries.Additionally, the things obama did pissed off evangelicals and others later in his term. The whole transgender kids bathroom thing was stupid. They were pushing away the religious voters by seeming to be against religious liberty etc. I realized trump could win recently when I heard WLC seem to promote him as the religious freedom friendly candidate and anti-abortion etc. Those people would actually vote trump for those few things, ignoring that he himself stands against many of their standards (i mean how many abortions do you think he himself has financed? he lies, he cheats etc etc. doesn't even pay taxes like the rest, yet still voted for)
I am not a populist. Not the Sanders type, and not the Trump type. I believe in a regulated and taxed free market capitalism with a safety net, so I voted for the best fit for my views, in primary and general, and I stand by that.So you decide to blame everyone else. I will put economic record of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama against what you are about to see with Trump, any day of the week.
We are going to be reaping the fruits of your labors, not mine. I am not going to rejoice about it, but I am not going to sugar coat it either. If you voted for Trump or sat it out last night, you did it to yourself and to us as a country. Now own it.
